  1. Garlic, broccoli, peas and carrots, apples, bananas, almonds, salmon, eggs, rice, and sauerkraut dishes are my main staples.

Didn't know I was eating a partly Mediterranean diet by aiming for paleo. 😂

  2. True, I'm aware the med diet is very popular and has many studies suggesting a good impact.

It just sounds like being more conscious of what you eat can be generally better than just eating anything in sight without really considering the affect / damage.

I personally don't mind fish, although as a kid being ran around the house with a frozen beady eyed fish by a hyper active little brother wasn't helpful. 😅 shellfish, fruit or anything else for that matter it's just more of a prep thing.

It's quite interesting how they correlated cognitive health and aging with a particular diet.

Today's I ate, some crabsticks and a prawn sandwich I need to figure a way to sneak more broccoli, carrots and other veg already eating plenty of fruit and drinking water I'm probably going to make some soup stock dishes with spices I'll figure something to cook up..

When I leave it to my father he goes straight to convenience; fast food and orders stuff that really isn't good for his more sedentary lifestyle.

  3. Balanced vegan diet causes the lowest amount of oxidative stress, thus the least cognitive decline, all other things being equal. Get as mad as you want about it if you have a boner for steak or whatever, but it's true nevertheless 🤷🏻
