37. There does also seem to be anti-aging factors (or signaling molecules) in young blood, in addition to the lower concentration of negative factors (compared to old blood) that Dr. Gregor mentions. In experiments done by Dr. Harold Katcher, the suspected good signaling molecules were assumed to likely be exosomes. Large amounts of pig's blood were fed into a process which extracted molecules of molecular weight similar to exosomes, allowing Dr. Katcher to produce a treatment in which the good factors were far more concentrated than in normal young blood. The concentrated liquid, when infused into old mice, did dramatically rejuvenate them. So we need an efficient process to synthesize these factors and bingo, a possible treatment for aging.
