  1. Dr. Michael Greger has been my Northstar when it comes to health nutrition for so long and yet he never ceases to amaze me. I turn 40 this year and being primarily plant based coupled with regular exercise has me running laps around a majority of people in my age group. Very grateful for health bestowed upon me by following his lead.

  2. Brilliant news! Many thanks for the confirmation. High dose chemo left deep a 4 inch long why shape in my arm when the arteries presumably collapsed? Take garlic everyday the Y has albut disappeared. Reasurring to know its assisting the internal rebuild! Ancestrors were heavily into plant based medicine. Kudos to them!

  3. What are the allicin levels like? I never thought powdered garlic could be as beneficial, though it obviously is still very good for us.

  4. OK, then, time to add garlic powder to my other spices/powders – turmeric with black pepper, black cumin seed, amla – that I simply toss-n-wash with a bit of water.

  5. I always have to wonder if "displacement of the womb" or "wandering womb" are actually describing endometriosis. It wouldn't be surprising if women described as "hysterical" in antiquity were actually suffering terrible pain from it.

  6. I'll wait for the meta-analysis, these quotes from one-off papers are too anecdotal te be taken all too seriously.

  7. Another amazing video! Thanks Dr Greger. I have a question. We know how to cure cancer, diabetes, heart disease, etc, with the power of a good diet, but is there a way to cure keratosis pilaris? I’ve tried so many different things but nothing has worked. Can we cure this with food? Thanks!

  8. I love to microwave garlic heads, so much easier and quicker than roasting in the oven. Just chop off the top and tail of the garlic head to stop it exploding in the microwave and cook for approx 1 minute per garlic head, depending on your microwave power (mine is relatively low). Err on the side of caution as it cooks quickly, you can always add a few more seconds later

  9. A lot of garlic powder in stores is from China. I don't especially want Chinese grown garlic from what I've heard about it. Any good American or Canadian brands?
