  1. Eating fruits and vegetables is great, but if you get cancer, your diet is either not that effective, or you haven’t been following a healthy diet. Steve Jobs went down that road, and it didn’t end too well for him.

  2. I’ve been a huge organic garlic fan for many years and I eat about 200 calories of organic powdered garlic each day in gel caps that I make, on popcorn, on beans or lentils, etc. It is very good for the body. After I became a vegetarian, garlic was a major source of calcium and potassium in my diet too.

  3. I’ve been dealing with depression, lack of motivation and stress eating lately. I used to take care of my body, mind and food. Now I’m eating way too much sugary foods, eating out if boredom or stress or anxiety, I occasionally do something for my body like gym workout and it goes well for a short while, until I fall back, kinda in a dark whole and I can’t find my way out. I also know that I’m definitely not drinking enough water. It feels like I’m just somehow functioning to survive. I have a full time job and I run a small cleaning business and those are the things that keeps me going on. If it wasn’t for that I don’t know what I would be doing.

This covid pandemic paired with my depression really knocked me out of my path. Finding the way back where I took better care of myself is difficult. I occasionally have those burst of emotions and motivation but soon later it fades away and I find myself eating a bag of chips, eating ice cream and drinking Coca Cola bottles. The amount of healthy foods that I actually have at home but I chose to eat the unhealthy ones. It’s crazy.

  4. Thank you Dr. Greger. You are the voice of reason why we should eat lots of garlic 🧄 , onions 🧅 , leeks and shallots 🌱🌱👏👍🏼
