  1. This man, who rapidly aged 15 years in the span of just 5, is telling us how to avoid aging? When I told you this man was only in his early and mid 40's this WHOLE TIME at the time of publishing his "how not to die" book, you'd never believe it. He just turned 50 this year but legit looks 65. look at his live streams if you don't believe me. Shocking

  2. A proven effective way to cut the telomeres short, and in fact chop them off, is to take a machine gun in hand and run around screaming "God Is Great." We humans have been chopping off our telomeres in the name of God for at least a couple of thousand years. I don't guess we'll ever learn. That said, a major focus should be on obtaining peace of mind with meditation, walking in nature, cultivating warm friendships, and developing a compassionate nature. Developing a hateful mind will do the exact opposite.

  3. Robert Lustig MD said that China Study is 500 pages of correlations and no cosations. Moreover he said that saturated fats are neutral (meat) or protective (dairy). I'm confused!?

  4. Some ready to eat mixed nuts are cooked/fried in palm oil which could explain the telomere shortening. Always look for dry roasted.

  5. What about eating fries but cooked in an air fryer without oil and low heat cooking about 165. I'm so sad i love French fries and i couldn't live without them 😥😣 that news already stressed me out lol rip my telomeres

  6. Genetics is always the equalizer at the end of the day.

    Edit: I'm not dismissing epigenetics or the WFPB diet. Some fates are beyond our control.

  7. Did I miss it or did we leave out another low hanging fruit. Sleep. Just coming off 16 years of night shift. Plus caregiver responsibilities. Sleep is huge. The ripple effects alone are significant. (ever have to read documents at 2am) sugary processed food to kick in the dopamine is practically a requirement lol.

  11. I'm going to search thru your videos, but if anyone can link me I'd appreciate it: I need a high fat KETO diet because it helps calm my epilepsy, but I don't want to eat meat or dairy. I have a 30 yo brain injury (I'm in my late 60's) and a genetic disorder that makes my mitochondria FORGET how to absorb nutrients. Any suggestions? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS and great info and attitude!

  12. Hi Dr Greger and team – I was wondering if you'd considered pushing your non profit credentials up to the head of your videos? I put people onto your work all the time and they have a hard time distinguishing why they should listen to you over other more marketing motivated diet influencers. I think the fact that this is done out of service to humanity rather than service to selling is a strong motivator for me to listen to you ( yknow aside from your content being based on facts. ) Many Thanks! 😊
