Most vegans arent deficient in anything, studies show most average Americans are more deficient in vitamins than an average vegan is of protien or iron.
@DrFaraz we need to stop saying heme is only found in meat. It can now be produced in vegan non meat ways
My wife got a worried response from her doctor after her blood test because her iron levels were so high they were thinking she was eating red meat every day.
We're both vegan and not really trying to keep our iron levels high.
