  1. Nope, not for me. I'm 75. And after a lifetime of illness, I can't tolerate any carbs whatsoever. One serving of a carb, simple or complex, and my joints ache, I get headaches and migraines, and get bloated and gassy. Zero carb, 100% animal-based carnivore diet works well for me. It cured my T2 diabetes, high blood pressure, wicked arthritis, gum disease, healed my gut, and on and on. I have excellent health and excellent energy as long as I stay away from any plant-based "food." Watch "Anthony Chaffee MD Plants Are Trying To Kill You."

  2. The problem with plant based is that they are sprayed with poison and grown in ground fertilized with petroleum based chemicals. Lots of volume, filled with garbage. You need fat and proteins. You don't need carbs.

  3. There are essentail amino acids; there are essential fatty acids, but there are NO essential carbohydrates. When your body needs glucose – it makes its own. I have spend nearly 50 years of my yoyo dieting believing that carb calories are no different from calories of fat and protein. NO. I eventually dropped the carbs and started OMAD. I finally lost those 50lbs and they have stayed OFF for 2 years now. Carbs make you huungry.
