100 Risposte a “A Vegan Rant That Every Christian Needs to Hear”

  1. Jesus was a big jerk. They just don't think about the time Jesus was racist or when Jesus said he wanted people to kill their kids or when he said he didn't come to null and void the Old Testament but fulfill it.

  2. David has plenty of common sense and empathy when it comes to not hurting animals but seriously needs to switch his brain on when it comes to his belief in his woman hating slave loving baby killing bigoted genocidal lunatic space wizard god ?

  3. I always thought Jesus was a top bloke, it's just that some of the people who wrote the stories might have twisted the narrative.

It seems we are finding out that Jesus was even better than that and certainly wouldn't want people killing in the name of.

  4. Thank you. I am vegan of 15 years. I was supernaturally saved by Jesus Christ in March this year from actual demonic spirit attacks. I did non satanic new age style witchcraft since about 2019 and ended up making contact with pure evil. I was very skeptical about the existence of God although I did give the Christian church a chance throughout my life. I was not raised in the church. I'm 39. I am a ex BMX skatepark rider and artist and current violinist. I am sound of mind. I have interacted with spirits or what people would think of as ghosts but they are actual demons. Spiritual warfare is real and vegans and Christians need to unite because animal agriculture is demonic. Church has been weak for a long time and has been a coffee club. Please give Jesus a chance to come into your life. Stop doing anything demonic especially drugs and alcohol and vapes. We are at war with evil and the animals need us. I know a lot or most Christians won't listen about animal rights but I believe God is making changes to stop this unnecessary harm to his creatures. Also look up veganism in the bible. The garden of Eden was vegan. Heaven is vegan. God bless everyone who is fighting for animal rights. In Jesus name. Amen

  5. Your point about the lack of proof of the existence of god is what's important to me. Why should I blindly follow a religion that is based upon that lack of proof, when the reality, as I see it, is that religion itself is a set of instructions written by people who want to control me?

  6. Thank you for sharing your values and personal faith! I find it so relatable that it takes away from the loneliness I have felt since I returned to believing in God a few years after I went from Vegetarian to Vegan. ❤💪🙌

  7. 🌱a reminder that it is not only what is on the Christians' plates, but what's in the rest of their lives, too. their entertainment, their household and personal products, what they wear. animals are not ours to use.🌱

  8. Bet this guy will go back to eating meat because he comes across some 'hidden evidence' in the future. Eg. Animals enjoy being eaten by Christians. Catholics actually believe they are eating christ's flesh at communion.

  9. BRAVO! 👏 👏👏
This was beautiful and impactful. You’re getting better and better at this David, I love your new look and strong yet balanced and powerful delivery. It’s especially effective when you share your personal stories that may feel a little vulnerable, it makes what you’re saying even more compelling. Well done! 🙏💚💪

  10. As far as we know a planet can make 8 billion people using Mother Nature and Lions Tho. Can we create life on a planet with Animals not eat other Animals ?.

  11. Something to think about… We have to start looking into the Mud Flood and Tartaria and see how it compliments both veganism and Christianity.

  12. To believe in jeses is to believe there is a god up in the clouds that impregnated a girl who was another man’s wife, and that Jesus was god and jesis at the same time, made “miracles”, died (but he was an all powerful god?), and came back to life, and disappeared again, and never changed anything for women’s rights or helped children from being abused and sexually violated. Yet there was a population of people in other continents who would then me slaughtered in the name of Jestus to expand Christianity.
    So absurd. Lol

  13. How do we feed lions, tigers,
Wolfs in the zoo if we dont have
meat to feed them they need meat
Edit: i watched this while eating ham, sorry you cant stop me

Edit 2: vegans are so dumb they make up stuff to get people to be vegan, stop critisising people for eating food.

  14. If you read/watch Jonathan Haidt (pronounced height) you know those with a conservative temperament have 5 moral foundations rather than your two, which is where much confusion on the vegan's part comes from. You vegans can appeal to more than just compassion if you want to relieve animal suffering from conservatives. Fasting from various foods is already part of many religions; if you are getting push back then you may be doing more harm to your movement than good and should change tactics based on more understanding.

  15. I am vegan and concider myself as a spiritual person , i believe animal's do also have soul's , another strong reason not to eat their flesh or consume their secretion's .
    Vegan for life .

  16. I don't need a god to tell me to be compassionate to animals, I am compassionate to animals due to my own observation, reasoning and empathy.
    Atheist for life.

  17. To an attempt at global veganism and or the question of salvation and God.

Until we kill off the last idol being money, to which wars are attracted, like the more intelligent member of our species killed off any vestigial beliefs in anthropomorphic gods, we will never collectively have eliminated the need or propensity for consuming animals. The problem is humanity still cannot cooperate on a massive scale for fear of losing one's identity which is basically the ego asserting itself which I believe is the case for theism. The idea that God made the universe for you and that you're consequently at it's center merely is symptomatic of solipsism. Refer to the cosmological debacle of the theistic roots of flatearthers. Forget about gods and salvation and know that this world is what we got. There's no evidence for heaven let alone hell. It's now or never. Learn about Jaques Fresco and the Venus Project.

  18. I was raised as a Christian, but my family became estranged from our church because of my dad having questioned their "authority." Now I can see that the actual teachings of Jesus were in complete defiance of the established religions and governments of his day. I aspire to be more Christ like in that sense, and also with that sense of unity and compassion for all. We are all one, and when we do harm to another, we harm our self. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Do not impose on others what you would not want for yourself.

  19. I was raised Mormon but I never believed in the Christian god. Because I grew up in a religious community tho, I was constantly attacked with proselytizing and ridicule. By the time I was 15, I had read the Bible cover to cover almost a dozen times because I found that I could better defend myself if I knew my critics’ beliefs better than they did. I also went vegan when I was 12 and that was met with just as much hostility as my atheism. But it was easy to defend veganism even from a Christian reasoning because I had always found the teachings of Jesus to be extremely vegan. I am no longer an atheist (I’m not a Christian either) but I still mostly respect the idea of jesus and most of his teachings. A man that preaches against inequality and violence and cruelty and advocates for radical non violence, compassion, charity, and love is a man worth listening to, regardless of religious beliefs. I only wish more Christians actually read their Bible and loved by the lessons of Christ.

  20. I'm interested in what you call Secular Christianity. I've been saying for a long time that a philosophy of nonviolence, forgiveness and charity does not require superstition, but this idea seems to be too much of a leap for a lot of religious people.

  21. Religious programming runs deep. There is a reason parents must indoctrinate their kids so early in their lives to believe such ridiculous things. If they didn’t, we wouldn’t really have any more religion. Less religion, less programming. Less programming, more vegans in the world.

  22. This issue is not limited to Christians, people of other religions do it too. They will conveniently misquote their religious teachings and scriptures in order to justify animal abuse!!

  23. So is there any evidence that the failed apocalyptic nutter Jesus actually existed ? No nothing not one bit ! Strange that isn’t it 🤔 I’ve searched through the Bible and I cannot find a single passage that states Jesus birthday was December 25 🤔 Does David not understand the holy trinity the father son and Holy Ghost. ? Jesus is god you know the same one that slaughtered baby’s children and pregnant women and let’s not forget trillions of innocent ANIMALS !!!
Anyone that is religious needs to look in the mirror and ask themselves what happened to there morals 🤔

  24. Everyone should be vegan and everyone should be atheist, because religion is fiction.
Animals actually exist, it's wrong to exploit them.
I'd love to see a blanket ban on religion across the planet.

  25. Excellent. The animal usage is exactly why I won't return to the Catholic church. These folks spend their entire life in church yet don't understand the basic teachings of mercy, love, compassion.. Hypocrites..

  26. Vegan Atheist myself so not overly gone on going down a superstitious conversation route generally speaking. But nice video David.🌱❄️🌅🍀

  27. So you religious nuts think Jesus was a vegan 😂 Wasn’t he a shepherd did he think all those sheep he was guarding were just pets 🤔 Tell me again who was it that slaughtered some fish to feed the 5000 ? He was a magic wizard wasn’t he couldn’t he have just magically created some food 😂 seriously you religious nuts need to learn some critical thinking !

  28. I find the most basic of Christian beliefs align with secular humanism. For instance, you can find iterations of the "Golden Rule" in several other cultures predating the Bible. It's not that it comes from a god, but rather it just really works for any cohesive society.

  29. Disappointed that as a kid you got out of the pedo cult and then as an adult one documentary made you rejoin the mass delusion. You're usually so logical, like you can have similar values without needing an imaginary friend that theres zero evidence of. 😂

  30. Even if not full vegan, we should all reduce meat consumption. All the animals we abuse in factory farms possess a soul. Just like pigs example, can be good pets, like 🐕 🐈.

  31. I believe we can learn from many different myths. But we have to be careful, especially if that myth was designed to manipulate the populace into being acquiescent to the ruling class of priests.

  32. Christianity is so diverse and so maleable and the morals of Christianity conveniently rarely if ever conflict with our own moral framework, whatever our individual perspective.

It is almost as if it is just our own inner voice and not a divine one.

  33. Do you drive a car? Vegan car? What can we do with things that we need in everyday life(specially in winter time, in some poor country) but something in them is full with used animals? 😟

  34. Hey David we are allowed to eat meat according to these passages in the bible

    1. Leviticus ch:11
You may eat any animal that has a split hoof completely divided and that chews the cud.

    2. Luke 15:23 when the prodigal son returned the father ordered the servant Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate

    3. Mathew 14:13-21 when jesus fed the multitude with fish and bread.

    4. Exodus 12 When the Israelites marked there door post with the blood of a sacrifice lamb so that the angel of death will not come and destroy them.

If this documentary that you are talking about does not include these passages then they are lying to you because they are trying to alter what was said in the bible.

Deut 4:2 You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it.

Start reading the actual bible rather than watching a documentary that lies and tries to disprove gods word

  35. Personally I don’t find religious arguments for veganism that convincing because I feel like you can use the bible to justify any viewpoint depending on which verses you cherry pick. But this is an interesting perspective nonetheless

  36. Nice video. I have had similar experiences. You might like the book Dominion that makes that point about using our power to be stewards of the earth. There are so many Biblical quotes such as from Genesis and Daniel that support veganism. The only place using animals for food are mentioned in a positive light is in the section about the magical fish, which was added approximately seventy years later as a marketing tool so it's not legitimate. Also check out the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics where discourse by theologians arguing that animals have souls are noted. Merry Christmas!

  37. Romans 14:2-3

One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.

  38. I know many people who are religious, who study the word of God and teach about a new world where death will be no more and there will be no pain and suffering. Yet, almost every one of them I know has admitted to, or shown a hate/dislike for Animals, and when I bring up Veganism, they use the Bible to make an excuse against it. When it comes to religious people in general, I just don't get why people who are practicing kindness, empathy, and love towards all will pay for Animals, the environment, and the planet in general to be destroyed on such a massive scale, simply because they are too scared to make a small change. And this goes for everyone. You can't be kind, and still knowingly pay for this death and violence.

  39. There are Atheist Christians. They follow the teachings of Jesus but don't believe the spiritual element at all. They don't believe in God. It seems that you are an Atheist Christian. Anyhow, so called "Christian values" are not exclusive to Christians. Society simply doesn't work without respect for others and moral consideration. There were "Christian values" in Britain long before Christians ever arrived here. Other religions also follow basic "Christian values" too. So, respect, understanding, forgiveness, peace and consideration isn't actually Christian at all. It's universal in any just society – or at least it should be. I would say that Christianity and other religions with anthropomorphic gods have done terrible damage. When we consider ourselves godlike we are capable of grave injustice. Most human conflict has a religious basis or justification. The current conflict in Palestine is a perfect example. We should be more humble. There are no gods, and we are not superior to other beings. We should, and can, all live in peace.

  40. I don't understand why people need heroes. God is fantasy. With regard to Jesus, why do religion teachers and parents indoctrinate 6 year olds to eat Jesus's body and drink his blood?… whether literally according to some religions or symbolically according to others. Is the idea to make children believe that Jesus is inside them, a part of them?

The churches were established in order to assert authority over the masses of people, and to indoctrinate the people to uphold that authority as natural and righteous. Nowadays, the churches assert that they are the authority over individuals' moral lives, and that secular governments assert a God manifested dominion over people's secular lives.

Embracing the heroes of religions puts people in the position of acquiescence and acceptance. Sometimes that acceptance means just following along with the status quo (Remember, ~95% of humans are non-vegan, and I doubt that number varies much for the religiously inclined.)

And during times of peril, as when a nation is preparing for, or engaged in war, the religious authorities, at best, stand by silently. Or they lead the choir in "Onward Christian Soldiers". Or as was the case with Pope Pius XII, they establish back door channels to influence the instigators of war. In that case those were Mussolini, and Hitler.

The Spanish and Roman Inquisitions were designed not only to keep doubters' mouths shut, but to convert them into advocates for the cause. And that cause was to keep the authority of the nation-state intact under penalty of torture and death for the apostates.

We do not need heroes to practice veganism. We just need to be our own heroes and know that empathy is a vital part of our intellect, and that when empathy is not practiced for sentient animals, it is not practiced at all. Exploitation and cruelty to animals therefore just shows a lack of basic decency and intelligence.

  41. David it’s fabulous that you are a kind empathetic person who understands that animal cruelty is wrong but keep your religious crap to yourself ! Maybe you need to grovel at the feet of your imaginary friend and ask him about children with cancer and why after creating the universe he can’t be bothered to actually show up and why he needs men to write his laughable books ? Isn’t it strange that there’s nothing in his books that could not have been written by a Bronze Age goat herder ? If someone was writing a book for me I’d actually read it and make sure all the facts are correct before I let it be published ! Your imaginary friend either doesn’t exist or he’s a complete moron !

  42. I will probably spend Christmas with my animal abuse justifying family. There is no good option. Go, don't go, both options suck. Getting passive aggressive accusations of considering something "more important" than them.

  43. Have u been familiar with Near Death Experiences? I think they're the best window of what might happen after death. Do not explain why this shietshow if atrocities is necessary tho.

  44. Thank you for this video. I am an Anglican Priest and a vegan. I became a vegan because in my pursuit to follow Jesus Christ most fully becoming a vegan was the only moral and ethical option for me. Of all the things my theological growth has led me to change in my life, in order to be in better in line with the person I claim to follow, becoming a vegan has been the most challenging to those around me. I believe the best preaching I can do is to walk the walk and when asked why, to give my answer. I haven't seen anything that I have preached before challenge and make people more uncomfortable than this, but it is bearing fruit. For me the story the Scriptures tell is that humans started vegan (Genesis 1:29-30) and we eventual be so again (Isaiah 11:6-9). My job as a Christian is to work towards making God's kingdom a reality on earth (Matthew 6:10) and for me this means striving for a plant-based, vegan world. (Sorry for the long post but thanks again for the video it's important).

  45. Jesus was strong. He directly tells people about the situation. For example, when the women washed his feet with precious balms and her tears, and dried them with her hairs, he directly told the host that the host did not wash his feet at all, therefore by her actions the woman loves him more. I realized how frank Jesus was. He tells people directly without any masking. God bless!

  46. Christspiracy must be some powerful documentary to change an atheist to a secular Christian! Great description, love it! Thanks for sharing your story, David. I too grew up in the church and was only aware of Jesus's compassion for the most innocent and vulnerable, the children and the animals (specifically the lambs). It was only much later that I actually started reading the Bible for myself and was appalled at the lack of empathy for animals in its pages, like God hated his own creations. It made no sense.
I never questioned if God existed, I just stopped supporting the Bible, especially after finding out it was heavily corrected and edited with a flesh-eating agenda replete with the "Born a Sinner" guilt trip and lots of spinning.
