11 Risposte a “Amla vs. Cancer Cell Invasion”

  1. I cant find them in indian or asia stores and the web shows 10 oz frozen at 10 dollars plus 20 dollars to ship frozen so they are hard to find. Does anyone have a source I can buy from at a fair price?

  2. Here you can find amla powder.

Kind of nasty tasting and it doesn't dissolve in water. I mix a teaspoon with 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce with a little added black cherry juice concentrate and that is edible (though it would taste better without the amla).

You can also find amla juice and amla capsules on Amazon. It is cheap and available. Give it a try. Just search amazon and take your pick of the products. The capsules would definitely be more palatable and the juice would mix and dilute in any other juice.

  3. Important : Amla is not a gooseberry !! Amla grows on a tree that belongs to the family Phyllanthaceae. Gooseberries grow on a bush of the Ribes family. Amla is called a gooseberry because it looks like one, but it is not. This said, gooseberries are probably also very healthy, but not like amla.

  4. My dog has an inoperable fibrosarcoma tumour on his upper jaw. I'm going to try adding some amla to his food daily and see if that might stop or slow the growth of the cancer. It doesn't hurt to try!

  5. I take a half teaspoon of amla daily. It IS nasty tasting though, and if you accidentally inhale any, it's painful to the sinuses. That said, but for one misstep, I've never had any problem getting it down. How? I add it to my cooking along with all the other spices. Any savory dish of more than two cups in volume effectively masks the taste.
