  1. Thanks for this info…very interesting…quick question though re: artichokes….when you buy artichoke hearts they are stored in some liquid (don't remember if it's just water or if oil or some other marinade is involved)…just wondering if they are still relevant (antioxidant wise) when you eat them this way…I've heard for instance as soon as you make fresh juice, you should drink it asap, because it immediately starts loosing enzymatic power

  2. @cinemaforever7 Great question! It'd be wonderful if you could post it to this specific video on nutritionfacts. org. This way more people benefit from the response, and I can actually provide you with links (which I can't do on Youtube). Thanks!

  3. why is it that I think that acai berries are a scam, and blueberries are more benefical, some serious research behind it would be good

  4. When are you ever going to sit down to 1/2cup of goji berries. Beans are the king, 200g of beans is a decent meal and Cheap++++ not to mention you add stuff like tumeric and and cummin and maybe chilli and you have the cheapest superfood on the planet.

  5. Apples!? Really? I heard once that a good low-fi way to get a general idea of how antioxidant a food is is to cut it and see how long it takes for it to turn brown. Because it is turning brown due to oxidization. So I always figured apples, though healthy in other ways, were pretty darn low in antioxidants. The logic of the method seems too simple to be wrong. I guess it is though. Hmm…

  6. 7 dislikes, 7! I really don't understand some people. The people involved in putting these videos together deserve a medal for handing out 'free of charge' information that can improve your health and improve your life and you press 'dislike' shame on you. Keep up the good work NutritionalFacts.org

  7. What about a video of what to have before a " cheat meal " to compensate for eating meat or fat. Can this be done? Tumeric or Cloves in a capsule before a " dirty meal " for example ?

  8. In one of your previous videos you said that cloves are at the top of the charts. Why is it no longer in the top 10????

  9. On a separate topic, can you discuss food dyes, specifically Red 40? There is information floating around that it kills cells and affects mood behavior, especially in ADHD children. Thank you.
