First 😂
I probably eat a half a head of broccoli a day. Love it. I remember to cut it and wait 15 minutes before eating.
Another great reminder! Thx PBL! I saw a broccoli hack on Dr Furman's YouTube Channel… He suggests fine chopping raw broccoli into your salads. I tried it and loved it! So fast and easy, no need to even cook it.
Thanks for sharing another informative video and I need to increase the amount of 🥦 I eat. Yes it's not necessary to do testing on animals. Love 🥰 the video and love 💞PBSL.
Another mice study.
There is nothing conflicting about animal testing! It is WRONG! God gave us the animals as gifts and to have "dominion over" which means to care for, not torture. There is 100% no need to test on animals, sentient beings. We are human after all, aren't we?
Thank you to this handful of mice for helping us proove the madness of slaughtering millions of animals every day for food!
How much fiber is lost when you cook your fruit and veggies? I think 50%. Am I right?
me: * eats broccoli *
Broccoli: I'll save you from yourself
To bad they cant actually prove these assertions with micrscoptic cameras inside a actual humans gut or something real. I eat broccoli and asparagus because i think they feed the gut microbes. They only thing we know will relative certainty is processed food is damaging buy guessing why.
Was the research done on cooked or raw broccoli?
3.5 cups is a LOT of fiber. Speaking for myself, my gut wouldn't be happy with that level of intake. Good info though.
CAN THEY DO ABOUT APIGENIN AND NICOTIMAMIDE RIBOSIDE
I wonder if broccoli powder would be as good. It's easier to add to my smoothie.
Broccoli is extremely toxic, and the one available in supermarkets etc does not even exist in the wild… Furthermore humans cannot digest the fibre, and there are almost no nutrients in there to begin with, nor are they bioavailable ones for humans. Need I say more?
stick to the science facts skip the politics
3 cups of broccoli will blow up my house. Too much gas!
Mouse data
>make huge batch of broccoli sprouts (takes 5-7 days, if u got big 4 liter jar u can make 2 weeks worth if u do 50g/day)
>form into balls (each ball 1 day serving) and add a bit of mustard to each ball
>freeze (breaks open cell walls and makes the mustard do its thing once they de-thaw) by putting the individual balls into a freezer bag in the freezer
>50g probably equivalent to eating 1.5kg broccoli a day (factor 30 (chatgpt says 10-100) sulforaphane and AHR) GG NO RE
Thanks so much for sharing this Miss. Great video as always.
so animal corpse cholesterol isnt optimal for my health ok thx !
those corpse prefer not rot in my long intestine that carnist dont have ok
Please don’t include mice studies
Why always Broccoli?? Too hard to chew raw! Can they research cabbage? Or other cruciferous veggies??
<3 thank you for bringing attention to this and also animal testing
My gut health has improved dramatically since I started eating broccoli almost daily.
it protects it, but does it heals an already damaged gut lining? And ulcers? Don't use more animals to figure it out, we have plenty of humans to test this ethically 😉
Things I try to consume weekly.
1 or 2 brocoli.
I red cabbage
3 onions
2 bulbs of garlic
2 tablespoons of dried turmeric.
Some ginger dried or fresh (daily)
25ml apple cider vinegar
The juice of 1-2 lemons (daily)
One tablespoon of himalayan pink salt(dally)
450g fresh spinach
12 eggs minimum
1 pint organic skimmed milk
Minimum 400g of mushrooms
Good lord I dislike broccoli. But now I might have to start messing with it more😢
The foods are okay the problem is that most of food is GENETICALLY MODIFIED FOODS which are not healthy for cancer patients. How do u neutralize the chemicals?
There is research says Dr. Gregor.
I grow broccoli and the plants produce a lot of large leaves. You can sauté these younger ones for a delicious green. I also lightly steam the older ones, dehydrate the leaves and powder to add to a jar of other mixed greens for winter smoothies.
Broccoli contains a carcinogen, no one talks about that….maybe there's a reason so many people have an aversion to it. I grew up on it, both my parents died of stomach cancer.
Really enjoying your channel.. lots of useful info. Been reading Michael Gregor’s book on one of your recommendations. Gonna be eating more broccoli, berries, sweet potatoe, turmeric and spices etc and less meat. Do you have one with your thoughts on Gluten and gut health for those without Celiac?
Love cruciferous veggies. Not a vegetarian but love my veggies.
Animal testing is not distressing to me. Speak for yourself
Research with animals is distressing. FFS grow up. If you don’t like animal testing refuse all medical treatment and die young (age 40 is average with no medical treatment) because ALL medical treatment is based on decades and decades of animal research. Go ahead and choose to die but don’t hinder animal research and force others to die who don’t even share your values.
For our consumption, raw is optimal for preserving myrosinase (heat sensitive), to create sulforaphane (one of the super phytonutrients/antioxidants). However, if you want to cook it, say in soup- first chop/blend then let it sit for 40 min, then cook. Or, add mustard seed powder which contains myrosinase! Dr. Greger has a video about it, just search "Dr. Greger strategy broccoli"
Could I heal myself of leaky gut by going onto an all brocolli diet for a couple of weeks, or is that like so not gonna happen?
eating broccoli Has caused Extreme digestive issues ! Bottom line, one size doesn't fit all. Meat all day everyday healed me up.
What is this POLITICALLY CORRECT NONSENSE against HUMANE treatment of animals, (mostly RODENTS), for the benefit of ALL – including other animals! This kind of experimentation is NECESSARY. What are we to do – use HUMANS instead? We NEED living creatures. who most closely resemble the HUMAN functions we are investigating, and who are also EXPENDABLE. Sorry, but that's the stark, OBLIGATORY reality.
I'm so excited💃. I finally got rid of my Herpes Virus 1&2 within just three weeks. Thank you 🙏🙏 (👉Dr Alaho Adebayo Olu👈) on YouTube. He also cures HIGH RISK HPV, FIBROID, HIV/AIDS, LUNGS DISEASE, CANCER, ALS.🍂
