72. Personally think that million £’s could literally be put to better use helping other beings, than offering to our none caring oligarch’s PM who is already a multi millionaire.
    If you care about other beings, the planet or even your health, you do not need the possible bribe or incentive of money to go vegan.
    Those who would need any incentive like this in my view would not stick to it, as they would be doing it for greed and not the right reason, which is the animals.
    This man would not choose this as the government literally pander to animal agriculture, dairy/egg industries, they keep the farmers afloat with our tax paying money. They listen to the lobbyist who are paid by the big companies within these industries to lobby against major changes that would affect their profits, gov see their money which is a hell of a lot more than the million offered, as it’s all about capitalism, instead of listening to common sense.
    Capitalism, greed and convenience is what is killing the planet.
    They also cannot afford to rock the boat anymore at this moment with the general public as this political party is in peril with the mistakes they have made in the last 10 years and are desperate to try and keep the voting public on their side. It’s not working though, but either way, I believe because there is alot of hate towards ethical vegans that if Rishi was to take that offer, he would lose even more support, from the public and back benchers, especially if he took the money as the public would see it as a way to further line his own pockets and not in an authentic truthful way.

85. I'm plant based and have been for 5+yrs. It's cheaper 100%, but if someone is homeless and is just trying to live with whatever food they can get, I wouldn't encourage them to go vegan. They are just trying to get by. It's helped me save money by eating plant based, but if I didn't have any money, then I'd be eating whatever I can get. I don't think the homeless is a target ordinance for this topic…..
