The benefits of Vitamin D supplements: randomized interventional trials are necessary to establish cause-and-effect.

34 Risposte a “Do Vitamin D Supplements Help Prevent Diabetes, Cancer Mortality, and Overall Mortality?”

  1. I’ll stick to being outside as much as possible and a keto diet thanks. Humans have lived healthy in the UK for many centuries without pharmalite chemical crap.

  2. Have literally beenranting about this for YEARS!! thank you!! Study design is SO STUPID. OF course do it based on levels not doses, especially if you don't know the dosing requirements.

  3. The little bit about the fact that cancer reduction is not something to get excited about because it's #2 is SO STUPID!! it's right behind CVD and in a lot of ways you can argue prevention is more important cause it's harder to undo when you are diagnosed!!!

  4. For every Nutrition Facts video about a useful supplement, there's also a video where Greger warns about supplement contamination & unreliability. 😒 You might as well tell us about some actual brands and specific product options that are proven to be trustworthy.

  5. IS VITAMIN D VEGAN?

For those following a vegan diet, it's crucial to note that not all forms of Vitamin D are vegan-friendly when choosing a supplement. Vitamin D2 is typically suitable for vegans, but vitamin D3 can be derived from either an animal source, such as sheep’s wool, or from lichen, a vegan-friendly source.

  6. In other news, "Conclusion: Liver injury due to turmeric appears to be increasing in the United States, perhaps reflecting usage patterns or increased combination with black pepper. Turmeric causes potentially severe liver injury that is typically hepatocellular, with a latency of 1 to 4 months and strong linkage to HLA-B*35:01."

  7. Vitamin d stores in your body for months.. you don't need it everyday it's not even sunny everyday lol shocking that dr greger would put out such a stupid video, its a worry, i thoight he was trustworthy
