Ad we can always just cook dried beams as well. 🙂
20 miles a day? Your a regular Marius Mule, Dr Greger.
HI , it is about time u understand there is no bad and good cholesterol,, and it has nothing to do with heart health,,,, you are a great Doc. but still stuck on old info,,,cholesterol is the first aid of the body ,, the risk is too less,,,,
I would love to see a video or get an answer to a question thats been bugging me for a while… How do you supplement a baby/child for B12 and vit D on a plant based diet? I am guessing breast milk contains sufficient quantities (as long as the mother is healthy too of course) but what about when you start feeding them normal foods? How much do they need and how do you give it to them? Any answers would be helpful. Love your videos Dr Greger, YOU ARE KING!!!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The great thing is your doing this for free. come to the u.k so you can be my doctor!
Great Q&A session!
This was great! Thank you Dr. Greger 🙂
Dr Gregar are you sitting on a ball-seat?
You're changing my life, dammit! 😉
I can't wait to see you in Toronto this May!
Thank you !
(I'd like to participate next time but not sure if I want G+ entanglements.)
Great show. Thanks for doing this. Sounds like you're not on the paleo bandwagon. I can't decide.
My live Q&A session: Q&A with Michael Greger, M.D. (NutritionFacts.org)
Sorry for all the bobbing. Next time I won’t do it from my treadmill! Hope I don’t make anyone seasick 🙁
Thank you for all your efford to help us live better lifes
Thanks for everything you do!
I have a serious addiction to your videos, keep doin them! thanx for your work!
What a champion!
Next time maybe you could show us your set up. I have been curious how you made it work. I would like to do this and I'm sure I'm not alone. Not everyone has thought of walking while computing and I think you doing this will inspire more people to do likewise. Yes you move quite a bit but I think now that your conscious of it you might not move as much next time. If not, I did't find it all that distracting. Looking forward to another one. Cheers!
The treadmill is a great reminder to ALL of us watching that we NEED to also keep moving in addition to eating well! Thanks for all you do to help us Doc!
You're the man. Love the videos
All those things you do for society that could be profitable to yourself you actually choose to give it all to charity. What a saint of a doctor you are! Total paragon of virtue, god bless 🙂
Informative as usual, and I am happy we will be able to see a fixated head next time!
Félicitation de France pour ce 1er Q&A !!!
You were so enthusisiastic as usual, and your bobbing was so fun, I thought it was and autistic mouvement because you were overstressed !!! I worried for you !
Long life to you Mister Greger 🙂
ABSOLUTE HERO!
Q&A what an amazing vid… Thanks Dr
You are a FANTASTIC HUMAN BEING
UM
Is he on a treadmill? 😉
LOL, yeah he is … hahaha!
15:03 alcohol is the highest level of carcinogen in terms of human cancer causing abilities ? Wow!
What about juicing …. in terms of eating the green leafy vegetables, or other veggies … would you recommend juicing – and to what extent with what provisos?
Research Protandim
I really enjoyed the Q&A! Please make it a regular feature, perhaps once a month?
You make a very strong statement here about healthy people not benefiting from drinking alcohol, while those who are less healthy could benefit some… Please see the work of Dean Ornish. He lists drinking alcohol as one behavior that grows brain cells. These views contradict each other. The two doctors have a very similar orientation toward diet though. How can we get a better understanding on this point?
I like your videos better- actually I love your videos, but my attention span is much shorter than 30 minutes. Bravo for doing this video in any case. I'll try to get through it in 5 minute chunks.
you sound like a typical doctor. A doctor who microwaves his food. Be careful who you listen to. common sense prevail
This standing/walking workstation idea is brilliant!!
1. I didn't know about this hangout in advance. Strange. I thought I was subscribed to notifications from nutritionfacts.org but apparently not. Fixed.
2. I noticed you walked during your talk. Cool! This is certainly one thing I want to explore – standing desks for my daily job. I heard about recommendations to add a treadmill to it as well. In case you combine sitting, I can share my recommendation for tilting kneeling chair. I use a cheap copy (I think…) of a "Varier Balans" and Its very comfortable for me.
3. I wonder what kind of shoes are you wearing – I wouldn't be surprised if you wearing some minimalistic / barefoot shoes (or walk entirely barefoot when possible). Probably healthier than standard shoes. In case you don't know what I'm talking about, I'll be happy to give you an intro to the subject. You'll appreciate it, I'm sure (without even knowing you).
Thanks again for all the work!
DR UR SILLY…take your vitamins and minerals and bodybuilding supplements …
again wrong on cholesterol …find the herbologist tony will get back to you as to his full name ….
Doest the microwave kill the nutrition in your food ?
i was not aware of this..oh my..when is the next one?
Good evening from Romania
I VERY much enjoy your videos, and I enjoy that you treasure health more than profit. I would love to see a video discussing the sugar issues with Harley (durianrider). He is a sugar sugar sugar man and extremely healthy, so why is that? He often dumps sugar in smoothies. While you walk 17 miles, he runs 17 miles. He is energetic, lean, extremely fit and has perfect blood testing results. Why?

anything green (besides fruitloops!) I see why this channel is categorized as entertainment instead of educational. Love your videos Dr. Greger! Looking forward to listening your lecture live in Portland, OR April 2014
Dr. Greger, you need to know…you are just awesome!
You microwave your food? Do you think that microwaving depletes nutrients?
Dr. Michael, thanks, thanks. I've been vegan for 40 years, think of myself as always learning, and learned much from this and some others. Please keep up the good work. I live in No. Va, by the way.
SOOOO WHY ISNT THERE ANYTHING FROM YOU POSTED SPECIFIcALLY about gmo food and the quality of drinking water from the tap filled with various stuff like heavy metals and fluoride?? do u have any research re these issues??
Lol. yolo swag. Your a crazy. Live your life, eat chef boy r d. Chicken noodle soup. This guy is crazy. Lives his life based on science

Why are you bouncing side to side in this video ? Are you High on Stevia ? I just started growing it. Let me know if it will make me bounce around like that.
You are absolutely awesome…….funny too! Thanks you all you do for all of us.
best channel ever!!!
Is that a treadmill he is on.
Do you believe the black death was Yersinia Pestis or could it have been a (bird) flu?
Some of the symptoms in your birdflubook, such as air bubbles beneath the skin due to lung damage, seem like those of the black death, and there are various weakness with the bacterial theory (spread in areas where there are no rats, too quickly, and stopped by quarantine) as argued by Scott and Duncan in 2001.
Bison is the Zinc heavy weight champ of the world
Is he sitting on a space hopper?
Tip: This video contains excellent information but DO NOT try to watch it. Just let it play so you can hear it and browse around in another window to something easier to watch. The bobbing back and forth in this video WILL either make you ill or drive you nuts. Don't worry, he promised not to tape from the treadmill again.
Hey Greger, do you think humans in the past got their B12 from no dental health?
thank you, dr. greger. just watched my first dr. greger video and I am an instant convert. thank you much for all the great information and for your great sense of humor.
No mention is made for how much chocolate is bad, or what kind, what percentage of fat. Two little 1/2 inch squares of milk or dark chocolate daily isn't that bad, especially if one isn't eating egg yolks, meat, and keeps dairy to milk in tea and a tablespoon or two of yoghurt. Its the amount consumed that is important.
uuuuhhhhmmmmm. It´s kind of annoying listening to him freely speaking. Anyone else feels this way?
Prestigious Doctor Michael I love you and I love the way you talk and the sarcasm as well as the informative content
great example of how doctors should be not but write prescriptions
i would love to tune into your google plus chats please let me know how i can find you please! 🙂
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us 🙂 Great idea to do live QnA 🙂 I like the treadmill roll modelling – if you can do it so can we 🙂 My questions, had I known about this live chat, would be:
1. do raw onions clean out the lungs?
2. are things from the onion family, like garlic, toxic for us, or good to eat daily?
3. Are the onion family members good food for our probiotics?
4. Is taking probiotics something that can truly grow our probiotics?
It's terrible that this poor man who was desparate to go to the toilet was forced to answer all those questions first.
Now That! is a good guy.
Oh, please stop shaking
gracias
Why is this guy walking on the spot
Dr Greger fans, on December 8th 2015 there s going to be a book published about all the information Dr Greger has collected throughout the years and also about his practical day to day tips on how to get in all those phytonutrients!
Do you eat pasta?
The bobbing didn't bother me but for some reason watching him made me want to rock from side to side with him. 😀
I love you
…thank you for what you do…
OMG glad you explained the bobbing, I thought something was wrong. happy ur ok
I am a a true believer in a plant based vegan diet. I am a critical care nurse and many of my coworkers laugh at my diet. I must say I am 47 with the body of a 27 yr old…I am on a journey to educate as many people on the benifits of a vegan diet. I often send youtube videos with Dr. Michael Greger as my a arcinaol. Keep up the amazing work, you are changing the world!
What an awesome guy.
Huh? 19:50 you say you walk 17 miles a day? If you walk a good pace do you know how long that would take you? A good walking pace is 3mph hour. So you walk for 6 hours a day?
I don't know how the meat industry hasn't put a hit on you yet…
You are so cute 😉 Looking forward to your next Q&A. Thank you so much for all your research and dedication.
Dr. Gregor, YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!! Thank you for all of your work in getting this

Yeh Doc, forget the treadmill. Hey love your stuff
you dont look very healthy for 43 years
Very glad I don't like drinking. Thank you for this!
Every time I listen to Dr. Gregor I'm inspired. Thank you thank you thank you!!
I am wondering about my own health. I am a member of PH360, and when I lost weight after using all Vegetarian for a few months. I was very thin and looked too thin.. I weighed 129#. Then my Doctor told me I had very low magnesium levels in my blood. She also told me I have low Sodium, which I had before going, on the all Vegetarian diet.
My MD put me on Magnesium oxide, 400 mg, three times daily. I also was told to take salt tablets daily. I had High Blood Pressure before , and low sodium, and wonder if the HBP was caused by my obeying the doctor and not eating salt, or if the salt was causing the HBP? Do you have any thoughts about this subject. Both are needed in our diets so I am confused about these issues. magnesium and Sodium are needed but I am still taking 500 mg of Magnesium three times daily and using salt on everything… Not the typical advice of doctors for HBP??? Thank You very much, Elizabeth in Upstate NY.
I miss the bearded Dr. Greger.
😍😍😍😍😍
thanks
