Frozen vs Frozen… man thats a tough choice!
ok I'm going for your fridge
I think you may want to re-title this video.
but you have to cook or blend the frozen ones so they lose nutrition … you told us this yourself …
just how are you eating for real ?
Is there one doctor actually eating for maximum health ?
Here we are on the same page, Doctor!💯💯💯

Fresh ideally, but frozen is good.
Frozen is not as healthy as frozen thats for sure
Even if frozen was half as healthy as fresh…it's more than half as cheap here, so it's what I'm buying.
While it’s possible that frozen may be a better option, frozen is just as good as it’s exact frozen counterpart.
💕
It turns out when they put it to the test, frozen vegetables aren't as healthy as frozen vegetables.
TITLE WRONG
Maybe he meant "barely frozen" vs "tundra frozen."
We love you, Dr. Greger!
Thank you. Good advise. ❤
All vegetables must be blanched prior to freezing; therefore, they are not frozen the same day and they are not as healthy. Nutritious phytonutrients are destroyed during blanching/cooking. The essential anti-aging chemical found in broccoli/sprouts is just one example. Raw/fresh vegetables are much healthier as long as they are very fresh. There are definitely advantages to both raw/fresh and frozen be it convenience, shelf life, etc.
😊😊😊
Yoga've been around for many thousands of years, and they consume foods no older that 1.5 hours after cooking/freezing (anything that irreversibally kills the food)
Looks so healthy
Put your treadmill on a higher incline. You'll have less bobbing back and forth. I eat frozen blueberries. Organic of course.
I freeze my winter garden greens…no need to blanch ..
Wash, dry, cut, put on tray and put in freezer for a couple of hours, and bag, drawing out air with a straw (use the bags without the zipper, use the ones with the locking strips. Do same thing for fruits and whole grapes!!
I’m not sure of what I can do to incorporate more frozen greens into my diet, does anyone here in the comments have some practical tips for me?
Big fan of frozen broccoli. Fresh broccoli always goes bad.
👏👏👏
What about the sulforaphane in frozen cruciferous veggies? Don't you need to add mustard powder or a raw cruciferous veg. to them to reactivate it?
