  1. I'm on a plant-based low protein diet for CKD and I use pharmaceutical grade amino acids from Calwood Nutritionals. On an approx. 20 gms.of protein from food, they are vital!

  2. Statement doesn't take into account bioavailability of said nutrients in regards to the digestive symptoms of humans verse herbivores.

  3. Statement doesn't take into account the amino acid density and the mass of food that would have to be eaten in order to get necessary nutritional intake. What % of plant vs % of animal mass is composed of amino acids.

  4. I heard that you have to cook legumes/lentils together with rice and eat them in a 50:50 to get all the amino acids you could get from animal protein. Any thoughts?

  5. Might be a good idea if he shaved his head. He has very good glowing skin but the cropped hair makes him look older. When it comes to the topic of nutrition, people will take someone more seriously if they look better/healthier.

  6. What about if you have been on a plant based diet for years and it never cured your depression so then you went to the doctor and tried 3 antidepressants and they didn’t work, then is it ok to dabble with tryptophan, tyrosine and 5-htp supplements? I think so

  7. "The amino acids in a steak came from the plants they ate" —-
Yes, and the plants make theirs from water, air and sunlight. Why don't you only "eat" these directly ?

  8. As a long-time supporter of Nutrition Facts, I have to say that I hate-hate-hate the YouTube "Short" format. It is an attempt by YT to compete with the most mindless segment of the Tiktok crowd. Those airheads don't care about understanding anything – this however is not typical of the Nutrition Facts viewers. Please stop the 20 second shorts.

  9. If you are infected with Herpes 1&2 I will recommend that you contact DR ALAHO OLU 👤 On YouTube channel and get a Herpes Simplex Virus 1&2 cure made with natural herbs and roots 🌿 🍀🍀. His herbal medication eradicates Herpes 1&2 permanently without reversing back to you again…..

  10. I know This is off-topic but can you inform me about Allulos sweetener? I only just heard of it but don’t know if it’s legit or safe or what. I see many sites laud it highly as harmless and a lifesaver if you have blood sugar issues. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  11. I have been on a plant based diet for three years. I still use a vegan protein powder 1 to 2 scoops just to meet my daily protein requirements.

  12. It's certainly possible to get ~1.5x bodyweight of protein in grams (which is a rather conservative guess for a semi-serious athletes, afaik), but it's not exactly practical if you're starting to weigh ~80-90kg and above. It takes a big toll to organize your diet around this, so that's why many vegan weightlifters I know consume protein supplements. That's the context in which I suspect this question was asked to, and the video largely doesn't provide an answer to it.

  13. "Every single amino acid is found in every single plant food." Do I understand this correctly, because I don't want to repeat it incorrectly… that EVERY SINGLE AMINO ACID IS FOUND IN EVERY SINGLE PLANT FOOD? Do you have a longer talk about this so I can be better informed? This is great news.

  14. This information is not correct. You will not get complete proteins from plants, especially per serving. Tell people the correct info.

You can get them from plants, however, you have to eat a ton of plants when compared to eating just one chicken breast, for example.

  15. Well that's an oddly inaccurate one. The cows get the bulk of their protein not directly from the plants they ate, but from the gut bacteria that make massive colonies on the plants they ate. Bacteria are capable of producing essential amino acids for themselves and, by extension, for the cow

  16. So, cows get their protein from the plants they eat, eh?
Why are you misinforming the naive people of the world? I hope you don't tell this lie when you speak on a stage.

I cannot believe that someone as intelligent as you would even make such a statement.

Answer me one question Doc., name me a vegetarian that has lived over 100 years? Keep on eating just vegetables, and let me know how you feel when you reach 90.

All you fanatic vegetarians are misleading the world. Vegetarianism DOES NOT INCREASE LIFESPAN!!!!!!!
