<br/>

  1. I'm thinking these studies were using the phones as phones? Who talks anymore for longer than two hours? Wouldn't there be headphone use to account for hearing loss? Finally smartphone use for watching videos an issue?

  2. u know whats worse than cell phones?
    cooked food
in what kind of daze r u ppl living

try eating 200g almonds and 1 day later 200g cooked almonds
cooked food makes u tired, such shitness
cooked food makes u smell and "want to shower" 1 day after ingestion
even shitty raw meat has less of these effects
humans been eating meat for >2 million years and cooked food for like 10%-20% of that
humans r plant eating animals so cooked plants r more tolerable than meat but still very retarded to ingest
animal products have a small niche (bee pollen/honey for example) in the best way of eating whereas cooked food doesnt have a spot at all (maybe for detoxifying some weird herb that wouldnt be usable elsewise?)
    coooked food so shit
    shitty shit shit

  3. It's about voltage-gated calcium channels. Non-ionizing or thermal radiation analysis or 60minute exposure trial is not enough. Read Martin L. Pall (PhD) analysis on cell-membrane functioning. Studies? Maybe somebody can fund him. He can't get funding to study this.

  4. This video needs to discuss what 'harmful' actually means. It jumps to a whole lot of conclusions and is out of date. The studies were for cell phone technologies we rarely use these days. Who uses GSM and CDMA phones anymore? 4G has replaced them so the studies are not relevant anymore. Also, radiation from phones is 'non ionizing' which is a fancy way to say that it won't cause genetic mutations, caused by uv from the sun and radiation from x-ray machines. BTW, i love the chatty way it's presented. Nice style.

  5. What about cell towers constantly emitting frequencies, any adverse effects on all life not just humans? Only asking this because of the schuman resonance being the frequency all life we know today evolved with. Anyone know much about 5G?

  6. It's great when an unhealthy overweight person who just had a coffee with cow's milk and sugar and a dairy ice cream tells you they are not using cell phones because of the damaging effects of radiation… Yep, that's the evil of the world buddy.

  7. If I have a longer call I always walk into a private room and put the phone on speakers, because I don't like to hold the phone to me ear(s) all the time, the ear(s) get warm.

  8. ok, thats your ears … what about the rest of your body? like guys with phones in front pants pockets(next to their 'junk'!) sperm production and/or ED? women(ugh!) putting phones in their bras … incidence of breast cancer? look, its simple i could research all the stuff that becomes an, 'i wonder … ' … but the truth is I'm lazy and i don't want to read medical journals(another ugh!) for hours to gleen a single word, sentence, comment or finding. so, tell me doc … whatcha got for me??

  9. So my instincts were correct. I almost never put a cell phone to my ear and always try to keep it at least at arms length away, preferably further. I've done this since the first day I had a cell phone. I use a cell phone probably less than ten minutes a day. For me, putting a cell phone to my ear makes my face feel hot and causes a pain in my ear within a minute or so. My solution has been to use speaker phone whenever possible because I just haven't bothered getting a bluetooth headset.

  10. Reminder that captions for all videos are available in several languages. To find yours, click on the settings wheel on the lower-right of the video and then "Subtitles/CC." Thanks for watching! -NF Team

  11. Listening this with my philips bluetooth headphones, pretty concerned about this in the beginning, but happy hearing they're not so bad😁

  12. Thanks, I am usually on speaker and on youtube more than on the phone.
You know what really concerns me? My electric meter is about 15 feet from where I am the most and a whole bank of meters is about 25 or so feet away. Alot closer depending on where I am. These are all around the complex I don't know why there are so many
We don't pay for any other utilities besides electricity. Have you studied it? I'll have to find your video if so. Thanks again.

  13. I mainly don't use it for calls. And when I do — I use earphones (wired, not even Bluetooth).

Don't know how safer is that, but still, I think still much safer than holding it for hours in immediate proximity with your head.

  14. By the way, I'm sure negative effects of capitalism (competition-based societal system, and consumption-based "economy") is way, way worse on my/our health than any of this… 😆

  15. Hey guys let's just say in a best case scernio, everyone starts eating healthy. Far less people will die from chronic disease, but will the earth as a whole suffer more from overpopulation or more from a bunch of sick people suffering from nutrition related diseases?

  16. Bluetooth head phones and cell phones are the modern cigarettes. Both are deadly and everyone and their kid has both. Don't need a study to realize how detrimental modern technology is.

  17. What about if I use headphones for my calls? how would the magnetic field changes in them affect the nerves? thanks for researching this.

  18. I hope those brain surgery human lab rats knew they were participating in that study! Because why would anyone knowingly volunteer for a study that could impart their brain function?…..

  19. Ok, most of us know about EMF's nowadays, and this is all very interesting, but who holds their phone to their ear anymore? I did, when I had a flip phone in the late 90's and early 2000's, and not a second later. I either use earbuds, headphones, or speaker phone, and have since I got my first iPhone. I'm more concerned about the EMF's running through my hands since I have my phone in my hand about 12hrs a day. I used to keep that ol' flip phone in my back pocket, and I do my iPhone now as well, but I try to keep it in my bag, away from my body. But there has got to be tons of EMF radiation in my hands…. it can't be good. The Podcast "The Healthy Moms Podcast" which is pretty good, did a whole episode on EMF's and how to reduce your exposure to them. Even though my phone is not on my ear, putting the phone down, and turning it off and your house wifi off when you sleep should give us all a little respite from the electromagnetic frequencies invading our lives (I hope!).

  20. Hi Dr Greger. I have hearing loss through exposure to loud music including hyperacusis/recruitment, tinnitus and ear fullness. Is there anything which could possibly regenerate my damaged ear hair cells? I’m a music producer and this is an awful condition to have 🙁

  21. That's great, but who uses their phone as a phone very much these days? People spend more time looking at it: for messaging, surfing and watching videos. I guess in that case, it's the effect on the eyes and the organs near where you hold the phone that should be tested.

  22. This video is nonsensical. The guy sounds drunk, and doesn't seem to understand electromagnetism whatsoever. The studies referenced were also quite dubious. The tiny fields produced by these devices have no effect on us. You're regularly exposed to far greater field shifts from other sources. In regards to radiation, we're constantly exposed to radio waves (and other light in general) that doesn't interact with us. You only need to worry about certain X, UV, and gamma rays. Or if you somehow find yourself in an oven where the radiation is contained and able to produce a lot of heat under the right conditions. The correlation between phone use and hearing loss could be from all sorts of factors. The thing about having that device implanted in somebody's ear doesn't seem like a reasonable comparison to normal phone use.

  23. The overly loud jingle at the beginning and end of Nutritionfacts.org videos is dangerous to hearing. (Actually, the damn "thump" is the problem.) I always have to remember to cut the volume down before I watch a nutritionfacts video or else I might have a very painful experience. For crying out loud, can't you mike it down?!

  24. Sorry Doctor your information re bluetooth misses an important point. There are several classes of bluetooth – primarily to set the range that the signal is good for. Different classes have different ranges and radiated power. Even the shortest range bluetooth far exceeds the maximum levels recommended by many internationally respected scientists.
Also you have provided justification for some to wear a bluetooth device in their ear for hours at a time. Even small exposures for 8 to 10 hours at a time will result in a significant accumulation of radiation . and as the recent NTP report has shown continual long term exposures causes tumors in the schwannoma cells (the same type of cells around the vesibular nerve) Are you promoting the use of technology that is associated with causing acoustic neuromas?
Most radiation producing devices radiate a pulsed radiation – the studies you referred to for the most part used constant wave radiation, are you aware of the Brillouin and Somerfeld precursors effects associated with pulsed radiation?

  25. This is actually good to know! As I use my bluetooth ear piece whenever I chat on my cell phone. I was doing it because I just hate holding a phone. Especially for long timed calls. But didn't know that I'm befitting from it too! 🙂

  26. I wonder if the collective wifi (from multiple sources) is "cooking" our eyes like the whites of an egg, or if this at least causes cell damage. When I use my computer I notice a huge list of wifi it's picking up with very good signal strength. I notice tests are being done with one source of wifi or emf.

  27. now we wear Bluetooth on our arms step counters. Bluetooth connected to my cell phone after a week wearing i feel a terrible pain in my wrist and hand moved it to the other hand. that hurt too. I wonder if i will hav to stop wearing.
Is all ppl with this problem rh -?

  28. Younger people more likely to use cellphones and so also they can be more likely to go to loud concerts and clubs and listen to loud music or use headphones and so on and so on, just a tought.

  29. Pulsed magnetic fields cause free radical damage to cells in the body. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that repairs cells caused by free radical damage. When the Vitamin C is used up, the immune system is suppressed. This allows cancer to develop and also any other infections.

  30. What about nerve damage in the hands from holding phones for hours on end over years? People hold their phones and text, watch videos, scroll through social media, etc.
