I'm constantly shocked by the deflection of the truth by those claiming fat is healthy.  The promotion of butter in coffee and the increase in the consumption of animal protein and dairy stuns me when I hear about it.  It is so obviously an orchestrated plan to increase animal, egg and dairy consumption and I would say there is a huge benefit for certain businesses to keep the population sick.  Conspiracy theory much?  As this video shows there is clear evidence as to what is going on.

I’ve been pondering this topic for weeks, trying to find the words to communicate the full impact of this realization to which we are all increasingly awakening. Everything is rigged… the stock market, the news, the food, your taxes, public schools, the health care system, and on and on. Even Lance Armstrong’s cycling victories were all apparently rigged (with doping), we’re now finding out.
    But what do I mean by “rigged” specifically? All these systems and industries are rigged to cheat you, to suppress you, and ultimately to suppress your human potential.
    Think about it. The sick-care system is intentionally engineered to give you cancer, keep you sick, and keep you locked into a medical system that enriches powerful corporations while sacrificing human life.
    The financial system is rigged to quietly steal the value of your money through endless monetary creation also known as “quantitative easing.” The more money the government prints, the less valuable the money you worked so hard to earn is left remaining.
    The political system is utterly rigged to give you the illusion of choice while parading in front of you two puppets of different skin colors who both serve the same masters (the banksters).
    The food system is rigged with GMOs that actually poison you while spreading genetic pollution across farms and fields everywhere.
     
    The news is utterly and comprehensively rigged,  and this was highlighted yet again by former CNN star reporter Amber Lyon who just went public with scathing accusations about how CNN allowed foreign terror regimes to actually BUY positive coverage on CNN’s broadcasts.
    The justice system is ridiculously rigged. A woman was arrested a few weeks ago and charged with a felony crime for drawing on the sidewalk with chalk. Meanwhile, absolute evil-minded criminals like Jon Corzine and Eric Holder go free with no prosecution whatsoever. The criminals run free while the innocent are persecuted.
    “Science” is largely rigged. Science journals are all dominated by Big Pharma advertising money, and nearly all the so-called science you see in the news anymore is just a regurgitation of fabricated research from corporate science whores who have sold their integrity for a paycheck. Much of the effort behind “science” today is spent reinforcing a monopoly over medicine by pushing deadly vaccines while disparaging healing plants and nutrients.
    Government regulators are completely rigged. The FDA looks out primarily for the interests of Monsanto and drug companies, not the safety of the American people. The USDA is completely beholden to the biotech industry and the meat factory giants, routinely betraying Americans with its decisions.
    Private property is rigged. Thanks to unconstitutional property taxes, you never really “own” your land. Instead, you lease it from the government. Don’t believe me? Try not paying property taxes and see what happens. Your property will soon be seized at gunpoint and taken over by the government.
    Even WAR is completely rigged. Wars are started with false flag attacks engineered by the imperialist USA, then all the reporting on war is completely censored to shield the American public from the truth of how horrifying it really is. The entire experience of war is sanitized, processed, homogenized… just like the processed cow’s milk you’re (hopefully not) drinking.
    How do you beat a rigged system? Don’t play!
    With all these systems rigged against you, how do you stand a chance of getting ahead? As every Vegas gambler knows deep down, the only way to beat the house is to not play against the house. Don’t play their game, in other words.
    Instead of sending your children to government-run indoctrination centers known as public schools, home school them.
    Instead of watching cable news propaganda, turn off the TV and get your news from independent online media like WorldTruth.TV and Natural news
    Instead of being victimized by toxic GMO food, buy organic and avoid the GMOs.
    Instead of falling for vaccines and prescription drugs, say NO to vaccines and dangerous drugs. Turn to nutrition and superfoods instead!
    Instead of putting all your savings and investments in the fiat currency known as the dollar, diversify your holdings into precious metals, non-U.S. currencies, farm land and other stores of real value.
    Instead of voting for the next presidential puppet, simply don’t vote for any president! The mere act of voting for a presidential candidate legitimizes the corrupt system. (Yes, it’s definitely important to vote for local candidates and ballot measures like Proposition 37 in California.)
    The point of all this is that you can’t beat a rigged system. That’s why it’s rigged, of course: to make sure you never come out on top. So stop playing in the rigged system! The house always wins, didn’t you know? That’s how casinos make money, and it’s how nearly everything else works, too.
    Levels of awakening
    The path to true freedom begins with recognizing just how completely all the systems are rigged against you. Only from there can you withdraw your consent from all the rigged systems that are insidiously working to keep you sick, suppressed, impoverished and ignorant.
    From there, focus your power and your effort inward, asking self-empowering questions like how can I become better informed and educated? How can I gain new skills? How can I improve my  health and set myself free from the medical enslavement system? In time, these questions will transform to more broad questions such as: How can I contribute something meaningful to the world? What can I do to serve in the defense of life and truth?
     
    These are levels of awareness / awakening. I describe them like this:
    Level 0 – “Zombie”
    This is the default level of total ignorance at which 90% of the population operates. They have no clue about anything that matters such as how fiat currency systems operate, natural cures for cancer, the true dangers of vaccines, how television manipulates their behavior and so on. (These people are often experts in sports and TV sitcoms, however.)
    Level 1 – “Awakened”
    This level is achieved when a person realizes something along the lines of “Hey, I’m living in a dream world. I’m being told lies at every turn. What is real? How can I know what is real?” This is where people start asking questions.
    Level 2 – “Informed”
    A level 2 person is someone who has taught themselves a significant amount of real history and the way the world really works. This person will have knowledge of politics, psychology, world history, economics, natural health, the natural world (water, ecosystems, soils, etc.), basic anatomy, basic science and so on. Not even 1% of the population today qualifies as level 2. Most people operate in a state of wild ignorance of the world around them.
    Level 3 – “Mastery”
    A level 3 person not only understands a great deal about the real world around them, they have also grasped ways to navigate through that world with great accomplishment and influence. They are innovators, creators and often communicators. Financial achievement is not the purpose here. Rather, it is achieving relevance in a world largely populated by utterly irrelevant people.
    Level 4 – “Enlightenment”
    This level is only achieved by those of the highest dedication to spiritual awakening. You would typically only find this level of understanding in people who pursue a lifetime practice of prayer, or transcendental meditation, or a similar spiritual practice. At this level of awareness, individuals become withdrawn from the material world and really have no interest in interacting with individuals of lower levels of awareness. Far less than one in a million human beings will ever achieve level 4 “Enlightenment.”
    Just to review these levels again, here are some of the keywords and concepts that typically relate to people of each level:
    Level 0 – “Zombie” – Football, sports scores, TV sitcoms, processed junk food, vaccinations, playing the lotto, following doctors’ orders, submitting to apparent authority, going along with the status quo.
    Level 1 – “Awakened” – Asks questions. Reads ingredients on foods. Questions their doctor. Watches documentaries instead of sports. Attempts to assess information and think rationally. Questions false authority.
    Level 2 – “Informed” – Reads books. Explores alternative information. Invests in self-education. Participates in activism. Seeks to make changes in the world around them. Speaks out with friends. Challenges people’s beliefs. Reflects on their own beliefs and is capable of adaptation.
    Level 3 – “Mastery” – Has great influence. Creates things. Innovates. Provides solutions. Invents new things. No television. No vaccines. No junk food. Has a very long-term perspective. Understands the “big picture.” Seeks to help others. Has compassion for living things. Recognizes the web of life on our planet.
    Level 4 – “Enlightenment” – Realizes the great illusion of life. Embraces immortality of  consciousness and the human spirit. Expresses compassion for others but not intervention. Never seeks to “change” others, only to invite them to expand their awareness. Recognizes inter-connectedness of all life systems. Sees the human life experience in a humorous light. Is able to tap into higher consciousness. Rarely seeks fame and not interested in financial success. Often abandons all material wealth.
    Remember: The rigged systems in place today want to suppress your rise from Level 0 to Level 4. They wish to keep you as dumbed-down as possible so that you never become fully aware of what’s really happening around you. Only by refusing to participate in those systems do you have a real opportunity to move up the levels and achieve the only thing that really matters: High-level consciousness.

  3. I definitely don't believe saturated fats from animals are good, or that animals products are good for us anyway, after having doing research when I became vegan. However, what about natural saturated fats from plant sources, such as coconut? Do humans NEED saturated fats, are all saturated fats bad for us, or is consuming natural saturated fats neither harmful or necessary in moderation?

  4. Some people are disagreeing with the science here in the comments that dairy is bad – that's fine. But at least think about dairy logically. Babies drink from their mother's breast when they're a baby then they stop. But oh no, humans think it's normal to keep drinking breast milk when they're an adult. But from a woman? No that's gross. It should be from a female cow! And cheese/yogurt/sour cream is a by-product of milk so it's the same thing. Wake up folks!

    Then we have cows being artificially inseminated so they get pregnant (raped), the calf taken away from it's mom so we can drink the milk and eat the cheese. Male babies are sent to slaughter shortly after for veal, females are put in the same cycle. then the females are killed after a few years when they can't be impregnated anymore. As humans we should care about this abuse and death or ask ourselves why we don't care, just for our taste preferences.

  6. The human body makes saturated fat through a process called de novo lipogenesis. It is extremely suspicious that Dr. Greger consistently avoids that nutrition fact.

  7. What is even worse than anything you consume are carbohydrates/sugar that raise your level of insulin which have been validated to increase inflammation. Fats can heal, sugars can damage your system. Sugars are the culprit! Do your research.

  8. People who think dairy is good for them have been brainwashed from an early age. It is okay, I used to be one of these people and can freely admit it. It's just when I read the science, I changed from bad to good habits.

People have been eating butter and dairy fat for ~8500 years, the rates of heart disease increased with the increase in the consumption of Vegetable oils with tons of trans fats, and Polyunsaturated fats that oxidize and cause inflammation. Saturated fat consumption went down in favour of polyunsaturated fats, yet heart disease increased. There is nothing to debunk about saturated fat being harmful, as there was no evidence to show it in the first place. Check out the studies in the 80-s which they based it on. Not that I suggest that its great, but many people are on a Ketogenic diet eating 200 g of fat daily mostly saturated, they can continue to do this for years, if saturated fat would clog their arteries they would be dead within a few weeks, stop putting out misinformation. Butter up for health guys.

    Everyone thinks hard to lose weight, most who start dieting to halfway.We know you have to eat more healthy foods and little , bad always ate those with enough fat and that's where we gain weight. Because of my Expecting I put on 31 pounds. Bad now I'm getting slim with the efficient method of this site —> PhDiet .ME <— and already eliminated 19 and already eliminated and will lose more 15 wonderful like me was before.

  13. The American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, The USDA, Mayo Clinic all still say that saturated fat is bad for you.  The US government subsidizes studied to prove saturated fat is bad, to no avail.
    Most doctors still believe the dogma. 
    My belief that saturated fats are good is based on the evidence, not what the miniscule promotional campaigns of the dairy industry say.

  14. You guys are not good scientists at all.  You all believe that a plant based diet is good, and base all your beliefs on that theory.
    A good scientist believes what the real evidence says, and does not cherry pick evidence to support an existing belief or mindset.
    Believe me, if the real evidence supported a vegetarian or low fat lifestyle, I would agree with you all.  I have studies both sides of this argument like a good scientist should with an open mind.  The vegetarian and low fat anti saturated fat arguments just do not stand up to real scientific scrutiny or common sense in my opinion.
    If I am wrong, provide some real evidence.  You can change my mind because it is open.

  15. I don't care about editorials. I want the science. Why saturated fat is good or bad. That would be much more helpful than pushing an opinion one way or another.

I'm listening to this and the points seem to be 1) It's a conspiracy by the dairy producers, err, ok… 2) Reducing saturated fats reduces trans fats.. well, not really: 100g of butter is only 3% trans fat and over 50% saturated fat 3) Rest talks about cheese, pizza, sausages etc – I believe it is true for those, but seems irrelevant as the the research/articles quoted are focusing on butter

  17. In the 1970s, obesity rates were only about 2% in Britain and people ate a high fat diet. By 2014, and following over thirty years of dodgy low-fat advice, obesity had soared to a massive 28.5%. The facts speak for themselves.

  18. I'm confused by this. I increased my saturated fat intake – including eating butter and full fat milk. I also reduced my carb intake quite significantly. The result is that my bad cholesterol has gone down, my HDL cholesterol has gone up and I've lost weight – Why?

The author of this video seems to be so bent against fat that he does not bear in mind that 80% of the human brain is made up of SATURATED FAT AND CHOLESTEROL as the nerve cell threadlike extensions (axons) is covered by a myelin layer. What is myelin? SATURATED FAT!! Why multiple sclerosis patients can not walk and Alzheimer patients lose their memories? because the myelin layer on their nerve cell projections start to melt down, that is to say, their brain start to lose the vital saturated fat and cholesterol! Human kind evolved eating meat and saturated fat from the prey the hunted! We are designed by evolution to consume animal products!!!! Wise up!!

  21. I disagree strongly. If you look at history, it tells a different story..  before 1900 the American diet was loaded (!) with saturated fatty acids e.g. butter, eggs, cream, meat, organ meats, bonebrothes, raw (!) milk and ALL the western disseases where uncommon. I agree there are a lot of cofounders for the horrible health situations we are in now (like sugar, processed carbohydrates, physical activity, stress, poisonous additives, trans fatty acids, oxided fatty acids, general pollution etc.)

  22. To be honest it's the processed foods, factory farmed animals, and rancid industrial seed oils causing chronic inflammation of the body leading to all of the lifestyle diseases. Eat a whole foods plant based diet to ebb inflammation. A little dairy or grassfed/pastured/
    butchered meat isn't going to hurt you, such as the Okinawans who eat up to 5% meat/Fish. It's having a largely plant based diet that going to save you from chronic disease.

  23. You're right dairy industry pamphlet, milk is nature's most perfect food–if you're a baby cow! I know dairy as an industry had to come from some where, but it just baffles me how they make milk out to be this product designed to improve human health went it is the completely opposite. There is a way better case for saying that about meat because people actually used it to survive at one point. Yet milk is entirely superfluous for humans but it's touted as the most wholesome healthy thing ever!

  24. Thanks for clearing it up. I read The China Study seven years ago (as a lifelong vegetarian considering going vegan) and felt convinced, but then I saw internet trolls talking about how 'everyone knows that has been debunked', and I wondered if I was biased. That's happened many times since. I consume quality content such as Nutrition Facts videos, which are obviously evidence-based, that support a plant-based diet, and then I see all this counter-media that claims the opposite. I am a vegan now primarily because it feels right, and so I want to be aware of my own bias, but my critical thinking also supports the decision. Then I hear intelligent people I know talking about how now "we" know eggs and cheese are good for us and I wonder if I'm deluded? Anyway, thanks!

  25. OK, the major vegan doctors tell us it's ALL fat whether saturated or otherwise in excess of 10% of calories that causes heart disease, and they've got studies to prove it. But then who doesn't have studies to prove anything they want? So, nuts and seeds along with oils are ALMOST as bad as is saturated fat. Is that so? One has to wonder why our mom's milk has more saturated fat than cow's milk? Is her and nature's function to start us on the road to heart disease from the day we're born? OR maybe for six months and up to two years we've been given a special dispensation by God to make all that saturated fat in breast milk temporarily harmless? Then, we also have to wonder WHY every single excess calorie that we eat from carbohydrates is turned into saturated fat and fed back to us on a daily basis during low level activities , between meals and while we sleep. Has God decided to give us heart disease? You would have thought that maybe those carbs should have been turned into omega three fat instead of saturated fat. I guess millions of years of natural selection isn't working that well? So, it isn't just big pharma, big food, and our doctors in a conspiracy trying to kill us. Somehow the powers that be have also gotten to mom, our body and God in order for them to participate in trying to kill us with a lifetime ingestion of saturated fat.

  27. Very interesting video. I don't what chicken contains that much fat shown in the calendar animation. I am from Denmark, and just looked up normal groubd beef of 8-12% fat. I calculated that eating 200 of this meat with 4,3 g of saturated fats per 100 g on a 10000 kj diet only accounts for 3,1 % of total calories. By this logic i could ear substantial amount of meat each day without hitting hitting my daily unhealthy fat limit. Just found it curious where you got 2/7 days of eatinf chicken would exceed the limit of the week. Must be a fat chicken. Otherwise great video.

  28. Im sorry, this post is flawed. Last year my doctor told me my cholesterol was too high. I saw the Time magazine article and decided to eat eggs, butter and red meat (see the post called the Steak and Egg Diet). Two months later i was re tested for cholesterol, my numbers dropped 50 points, to a normal level.

    My doctor said he was proud of me and asked me how i dif it. When i told him how, he looked at me as if i was crazy, or lying..
    So to the poster of this video there is no conspiracy here butter and saturated fat are actually good gor you.

    P.S. i also lost 16 lbs.

  29. It's RIDICULOUS that you would be citing studies from the American Heart Association, an association that was created by Procter & Gamble (an oleochemical company), and who are proponents for using PUFA's, which they also had a predominant hand in creating.

    Of course, they and others on the same bandwagon are going to support cutting down on saturated fats because it competes with their products, PUFA's. The real question here is: why on Earth would you be supporting this organization when they're clearly pushing an agenda to sell their product and to demonize saturated fats when humans have been eating them for millennia without any ill effects?

    Perhaps you could look at the American Heart Association and its ties with Monsanto and how they both manipulate science/researchers to support their views/agenda. I suspect your bias is in that you are vegan and you look at these kinds of biased studies that suggest that saturated fats are bad, when in fact, only when PUFA's were introduced did we see a sharp increase in diseases associated with their consumption. Perhaps, you can make a video about that and show the other side of the story?
