  1. I went plant based three years ago and lost 40lbs and my numbers from cholesterol to sugar numbers all went down. But then I noticed I kept having bad GERD and then my throat kept bothering me day and night, it was always raspy. I took an allergy test and I found out I was allergic to tomato, lemon and coconut, all ingredients I was using daily. I was broken and went back eating a SAD diet. Do you have any tips or advice? I look at this drink and the tomato juice gets me, I would make it for sure if it wasn't for that.

  2. Oh God! Just hungry of my intimittent fasting, wanted to know what I should eat tomorrow, I came across this video.

I love love love this man! My hunger is gone. 😂

  3. I love you and have your amazing cookbook. Making this today. Thank you for making me healthier while entertaining me.

  4. You should do recipes in grams only. Cups are vague measurements for anything like kale that isn't uniform. Weight is reliable everytime and doesnt require multiple measuring devices.

  5. Does anyone know the tomato/veggie juice in the jar that he's using? Thanks for any help!

  6. I'm so sorry but it's poo colored… maybe you should work on recipes that are either red or green if someone else might be repulsed by this like me… sorry 😅

  7. I didn't think there was any fat-soluble vitamin A in carrots, retinol. Isn't it just beta-carotene which is water soluble? Love your work by the way 😊

  8. Or u can take a teaspoon of T-Nation superfood powder + a couple of nitric acid pills and whoops, u get even more veg nutrients without the pound of zero calorie plant matter.

  9. This is probably a placebo but every time I drink this I feel ridiculously good for the rest of the day (hard to describe like what is the opposite of the headache?)

  10. Gosh he's such a geek. Wow. He looks like he must've been on something whilst doing this tho. Lol. Hilarious title for book 😆

  11. Oh please peel the beets. The peels are extremely high in oxalic acid and taste horrible- ruining juice and smoothies. Instead of using a tiny bit of beet as in Dr. G's video here, peeling the beets allows you to eat a lot more beet and get a lot more of the veg nitrate.

  12. Well i tried fresh horseradish and i think i exagerated a tiny bit… i put like a pice of the trunk which has a diameter of 1,5 cm and a depth of 1cm and of this piece i put half into my smoothie… and… well it is quite dominant to say it in a blunt way.. i will keep trying…

  13. Kale always has little green worms and even when you wash it they stick on it. I always miss them and now my husband and I have eating kale haha. Anyone else have little green worms on their kale?

  14. I drink this for almost 1,5 year every day (with some adjustments in the recipe). Frankly, I hate the taste, it is the worst thing I have tried in my entire life. But…this thing helped me with one of my health "problems". Later, I stopped eating meat, mill and so on. It is not a problem to be a vegan, you just have to cook a lot. Vegan dishes are great and I do not even want to eat meat. But this smoothie…every evening (I do this smoothie in the evening) it is a genuine suffer, but still it is super good for health. Thanks Doctor.

  15. Hilarious that people think this is even remotely healthy, hell just even look at his corpse like appearance

  17. I made a drinkable salad like this and called it "V 12" as a play on V8 starting years ago! I didn't know someone else had the same idea! Mine usually has cucumber, also, and no carrot, because it is loosely based on gazpacho, but instead of leaving it as a cold, chunky soup, I puree it as Dr. Greger does so you can drink it. I usually add olive oil for the healthy fat, as gazpacho does.

  18. I tried this smoothie and many other green smoothies. They are all equally disgusting and no, it is not because I am fat and not used to the taste.

  19. Love this drink. I never thought i could palate such a drink, but it is delicious.
    1 stalk of celery
    1 carrot
    1/2 red bell pepper
    1 scallion
    1/5 of a beet
    1/5 of a jalapeno
    1/4 inch of tumeric root
    1 cup of greens (kale)
    1/2 of a lemon, juiced
    1/2 tsp horseradish
    1 cup of ice
1 cup no salt tomato juice
    ground black pepper

At least this is what I am using. I tried to follow along. 🙂

Thanks again Dr. Gregor. 1 week down, the rest of my life to go.

  20. I just got your cookbook and added it to my large collection. This weekend I made BROL and am loving it. Hopefully, I do not have celiac. Anyhow, great stuff. Thank you.
