  1. Many things are naturally carcinogenic, but at very low levels. Cooking greatly increases carcinogens, and meet is cook longer, higher temperatures than vegetables.
If you are eating more meat than plants, you are receiving more carcinogens than your body can safely handle. Also high fiber diet helps reduce many toxins, by keeping your bowels pooping, and cleaning the intestine walls.

  2. Love you dr greger for everything you’ve done to help us all live healthier lives! Certainly changed mine 8 years ago. Oats berries and green tea still tastes great every morning even after all this time 🙂

  3. It's great to see all of this science about how horrible meat is for you, but I feel like the WHO covered this to a large extent. I know Dr. Greger's done videos on dairy in the past, but I think it's actually more pervasive and worse than meat because it's ALL processed and cheese by default just has soooooooo much salt and is so calorically dense. So, Dr. Greger, maybe make dairy your next crusade? I know you're not done with meat yet but it's starting to catch on, meanwhile if one more person tells me they're "vegetarian" because they can't live without cheese I'm going to drown them in a vat of butter.

  4. Anyone know what the next youtube live q/a will be have a question …… not sure if anyone else has idea: been following the 21 tweaks since 2/1/21… weight fluctuates from 170-166..back and forth but never past 166 …. internal med dr saying I should be at 135 so have a way to go …… any ideas as to why it does not seem to be moving past 166 WITH the 21 tweaks?

  5. I find it astonishing that the experts condemning meat are doing tests on people they are getting to eat 3 portions of meat a day – no one should be eating that much meat anyway (remember the moderation rule). Also, astonishingly, why does no one seem to be looking at how much browning the meat has been subjected to? We all know – or should know – that burnt/browned meat and for that matter, any burnt/browned food is carcinogenic in nature – no doubt there at all. And as mentioned by Michael, how much overheated seed oils or hydrogenated oils are the "meat eaters" consuming WITH their portions of meat. Bottom line (even the "experts" in this video can't seem to fathom it out), the problem is more complex than just eating meat. Humans have been eating meat for millions of years – it's part of our evolution. And 75 to 100 years ago, we were all eating heaps of meat and cancer was not as prevalent them….

  6. I'm wondering why it sounds like you're "Beating Around The Bush" about Heme in Meat? Just say Yes, Heme Iron is the reason Meat Is carcinogenic.

  7. Oh yeah, viruses… They must be real because they look so fake…
After humanity missed the chance to extinct by HIV, Ebola and now SARS-COV-X, they luckily got another chance.
False claims are responsible for wars, like in vietnam and irak, as well as for the ongoing braindemic…
Is there any scientifically proof of this virus?.

  8. For those that missed it- at 3:00 Greger stated that the level of heme in impossible burgers is below the threshold of concern. So that just leaves the burger itself as a highly processed food component stripped of fiber, in a larger meal consisting of highly processed foods stripped of fiber and heavy in grease/oil, salt and protein.

  9. I had bleeding in my stools and pains in my abdominal…….. I fixed everything what did I do…. I went Carnivore and all of my stomach problems went away. No Fiber Needed!!

  10. Still didn't hear it, but i thing it's carcinogenic because we eat it. Almost anything we eat is to some level carcinogenic. Air is carcinogenic. Eating a "balanced diet" is what we should do, not this, don't eat meat or u die, don't eat things that share stuff with meat or u will die. Don't eat burnt or raw meat, mix alot of vegetables, STAY AWAY from processed crap and STAY WITHIN your recommended daily intake of calories.

  11. More commercial places need air fryers – you get tastier fries and hardly any fat! Glad to see the range addressed between fully vegan and just limiting meat consumption here too.

  12. Thank you. I can't imagine anyone wanting to eat the imitation animals any more than I can imagine anyone wanting to eat the animals, but I'm very glad the substitute products are available for other people
