Vedere Advanced Glycation End Products (AGE) e declino cognitivo (https://nutritionfacts.org/video/advanced-glycation-end-products-AGES-and-cognitive-decline).

  1. Is this with or without the APOE genes that cause Alzheimer's? Because my parents died in their 90s after a lifetime of eating meat without a sign of Alzheimer's and we don't have the APOE alleles for Alzheimer's.

  2. Hey Dr Greger, it would be really cool for you to comment on the new erythritol study linking it to strokes. I know you previously gave it the green light in past videos. I know these videos are planned 3 years in advance so I will patiently wait until then 😅

  3. This guy is so lovely and helpful but also so dishonest. You can't have real science when you have ideological interests. He will claim that he is just following pure science but he's choosing pure science that fits in with his ideology. All the experiments are so broad you can weave wherever you want into them. The only thing that would be useful would be to have a comparison between people eating plant-based and people eating largely plant-based but supplementing with high quality meat and dairy. But all these studies sweep in all the people that don't give a crap about their health. Someone who doesn't care about their body will eat any old garbage but they just put down on the form there a meat eater, the same as someone who intermittently fasts, eats loaves of organic vegetables and supplements and also eats meat. It's like the CNN of science. Don't get me wrong I love this guy and I've learnt a lot of very useful stuff.

  4. How about vegan Keto diet? The book The End of Alzheimer's Programme : The Practical Plan to Prevent and Reverse Cognitive Decline at Any Age by Dr Dale Bredesen recommends a ketogenic diet.

  5. I love your work but the current thumbnail is a bit gross. I'm sure a lot of your followers are vegan and would rather not see dead animal heads on their subscriptions feed. Just a suggestion. Thanks. ❤️

  6. I would love to see Greger on the Huberman podcast to further discuss the role of saturated fat and animal products on neuro degeneration and inflammation

  7. As a midlifer, I have to say that I am fuming mad over how we were lead to believe that the garbage food was safe for us. They prioritized money, over our well being. We are in a health crisis, especially a mental health one, and it's all nestled in our nutrition.

  8. This is hard to believe, but you have to see this new technology that even doctors don’t know about for dementia and Alzheimer’s https://youtu.be/uvZgOupWwzg it surprised everyone including myself. I hope dr gregor looks at the science behind this and maybe shares it with his audience. Btw I love your channel dr gregor

  9. How are moleculs as big as AGEs absorbed by the intestinal lumen? Isn't highly accepted that AGEs are form in our body fue to high level of sugars in our Blood or fue to high oxidative stress? Very malicious to point them as being absorbed by a particular food source. Endotoxins exist in our gut as it's full of bacteria, but they dont cause any problem. Thats where the "leaky Guy" theory fits in… Is not about meat source, is about the kind of food source. Oxidated "rancid" fat are the problem, they make holes in the gut. You know what classical food source is full of toxins that do get in our body? Nuts, full of micotoxins, with hepatocarcinogenic properties. I ask myself how do endotoxins pass the Blood Brain Barrier? Well, maybe as we have a leaky gut, we may also have bacteria circulating in our Blood and some of them may even get to our brain. There is also a correlation between several viral positive infection and alzheimer. Those protein aggregates/plaques are mainly made of antimicrobial proteins. So Yeah, you just discovered that processed meat, as other processed food is proinflammatory, probably through leaky gut or oxidative damage (AGEs and other stuff). Nothing to do with meat… This is much more complex that just reducing a problem to a equation.

  10. Dear Doctor, I thank God for using you in these end times soon the MARK of the BEAST will be forced upon every soul you certainly have been chosen by God to give that warning trumpet a sound that will wake up many before the closing of earth's history. Please stay faithful please watch Dr. Norman McNulty talk on the 4 stages of the national Sunday law.

  11. APOE4 is a huge risk factor for AD. It up regulates serum LDL while also contributing to impaired perivascular functioning in the brain. Nutrition but also the induction of autophagy via increasing CBF and decreasing lipids (through exercise) may be a promising way to reverse these deficits

  12. Creating another source of income in these difficult times is the best thing to do not only does it guarantee returns, it also helps you plan and save for future expenses .it can be quite difficult to make an investment without sound knowledge or guidance which is why is advisable to work with an investment advisor like Mrs Christina
