I love eating onions. I know many females don't like eating them raw because they worry so much about their breath 🙄🙄🙄

I eat at least 1/2 raw onion every day in my 16 ingredient dinner salad. Not including cooked onions in meals.
5 cups of green beans a day?….that is a lot of beans… volume wise it seems like more than a single meal

I wish I could eat onions. They’re delicious but they upset my digestive system so much. Not even beano can deal with onions in my intestines. ☹️

Alas, raw onions (and even moderate amounts of cooked onions) for me come up faster than they go down, leaving headache and nausea behind. I'm not the only one like this. Does anyone know of a way around these side effects? Some whole foods are not for everyone, sadly.
My favorite vegetable is the onion. I easily eat one raw red onion a day and plenty of cooked ones.
Onion and garlic are my favourite, I eat a lot fresh and cooked with food, I added to all vegetarian dishes, I am looking much younger than my actual age, I do not discard the outer layer of the onion because it contains concentrated nutrients to protect the onion. I only buy red onion

I used to not be able to eat onions, but now, I'm good with all onions, garlic etc. Guess it has to do with cleaning up my food, and taking time to get used to them. Thanks for this great analysis.
Onions like most plants are poisonous and should be avoided. They make you cry they are that toxic
There's nothing more tastier than a quarter of a red onion in some black beans (or any bean), drizzled with olive oil and red wine vinegar and pepper. Delicious!
what do you say to those who have acid reflux due to onion/garlic consumption?
So onions: good for their antioxidants, their flavor, making me cry… and not much else!
