  1. I find these podcasts weird. I'm not opposed to recycling video content, but the highlighted paper excerpts as well as sources cited on-screen are such a big part of the content. LIstening without watching takes away a lot, the video would have to be re-recorded with longer scripts. I'm aware this would take extra time/resources, so I'm not expecting it…just my two cents.

  2. What about the fats in nuts, seeds, and avocados? Do they not negatively affect the gut lining? Just wondering. Is leaving these out even more beneficial? Thanks

  3. Vegetables help heal leaky gut (at least partly via effects on gut bacteria/butryic acid). Try healing leaky gut while eating grains.

  4. I've been looking into this lately after developing lower gut issues,
Some good things I've found for gut mucus barrier / inflammation:
-Epicachetin (lowers inflammation, restores glutathione, increases EGF growth factor which helps heal ulcers, keeps mucosa healthy). 100mg daily human equivalent dose was optimal. maybe best taken in the AM not sure

-Inulin (lowers the marker of gut inflammation 'calprotectin' a lot in human studies, & increases butyrate) 3 weeks at around 16g-24g total daily split over a couple doses with food

    – L-Threonine (not theanine) looks really promising at maybe 5 grams, it's the main amino acid that makes up mucin & restored gut health in a rat study of induced ulcerative colitis. But annoyingly it's really hard to come by

    – phosphatidylcoline is a major part of gut mucosa that repels things away. but getting it into the right place if it's low down the gut isn't feasible without proper lab formulations . Idk how to get the body to secrete more of it naturally

    – S. Boulardii

  5. Strange that he didn't mention the potential dangers of lectins. Or talk about using bone broth to cure a leaky gut (the quickest and most effective way)

  6. Wait a minute, if I eat something super-healthy like a medium/large avocado, does that typically trigger a leaky gut? I'm assuming that its fiber + other good components would counteract its high fat content.

  7. Gregor looks much older than he is, some proper exercise doesn't hurt anyone. Eat within reason without too much fussing and faffing about

  8. Glad to see the usual collection of weirdly named meat industry troll accounts commenting irrelevantly again. Welcome back, young sir.

  9. I put it to the test. High fiber low fat(vegetarian) CAUSED a leaky gut. High fat low carb(paleo) HEALED my gut. The only fats I eat anymore are animal fats, otherwise I get very sick. Paleo saved my life. This guy is lying to you. Find your own ideal diet not someone else's idea of one, don't fool yourself big pharma is involved with supplements.

  10. I wonder how many natural foods increase leakiness since aspirin is close to being natural, not quite. Would Amla or other acidic foods increase permeability?

  11. The point about gut leakage and exercise peaked my interest on other impacts of long endurance exercise. Can you do a video on long endurance exercise like marathons and long term health?

  12. I had a horrible case of leaky gut and i cured it eating meat and fat only… chucked all the vegetables and grains, sugar etc…thats my truth and of many many more. Good luck vegans you may be trying to save the animals which i think is good ( albeit misguided) but you arent helping your health.

  13. Interesting! At 4:30 time stamp , he saheys that the increase is due to increased use of high fat diets instead of the traditional low fat diet! But, the low fat diet is what the USDA has promoted , along with AMA, ADA,ACC, and other "experts" for the last 60 YEARS!!! Then he goes on to say that the six month trial swapped out fats for refined carbs!! DUH! That's what we have trying to tell you.

  14. Being diagnosed with Cancer has been a major loss of money and has caused major problems in my immune system, but when I came across Dr. Osaka on YouTube Channel and he recommended his herbal medicine I got completely cured of CANCER.

  15. Why can't this be found on your website to view the sources. Search bar and manual search turns up nothing

  16. ironic that oligosacharides in the cooked unsprouted lentils are just about the most gut leakyness inducing thing on earth (except bigger legumes like fava/chickpea/lupins – their oligos r even more stress for the intestinal tract)
takes a few years to realize this…somehow 🤪…and most never 🤭
