  1. Thanks Dr. Greger, for another good video. I am always glad to hear more science-based nutritional advice on how to get and stay healthy, and to reduce the risk of mortality. The stuff that I hear in the Woo community is practically aligned with belief in the four humors.

  2. It sounds like the fiber is the key component. I'd like to see them conducting a study where they measure the levels of cadmium in omnivores with low fiber (south of 20g) and high fiber (north of 30 or 40g), compared to a vegetarian or vegan of the same amount.

  3. For my art studies at school I used to use cadmium red pigment in oil painting alongside lapiz lazuli blue oil paint, cerulean blue, viridian green, vermilion red, charcoal black, alizarin crimson, lead white paint and I knew it's not good but had no idea it can stay in the body for decades. I read Da Vinci used lead white oil paint and vermilion red in his portraiture, maybe this caused his premature death from lead poisoning

  4. This is very informative and useful for application to continue motivating us to keep up to a plant based whole food lifestyle. Thanks so much Dr Greger.

  5. You keep telling people to avoid meats. Exactly how do you expect people to get their protein? Sarcopenia is the death of a human being. Causes weakness, muscle loss, and rapid aging. You need a lot of bioavailable protein.I eat a good mix of both plant foods and meat.Fermented foods as well.
