  1. That is very interesting. When I was a child I would go to work with my mom sometimes. She is a nurse and took care of a former Doctor with advanced Parkinsons. I always remember thinking that something was missing in his diet, but I had no idea what caused Parkinsons in the first place.

  2. Thank you so much, Dr. Greger, for your generous service to humans and animals everywhere. Thanks to you and other conscientious experts in the field, I've already transitioned this year from a pescatarian to a vegan diet and am thoughtfully increasing my intake of beans. 3 of my dad's 8 siblings had Parkinson's, one had MS, and the rest of the siblings had cancer, including my dad. I have MS myself & worry about my other genetic risks, so I will now be seeking out fresh and sprouted fava beans in particular!

  3. Billy: "Then the last question: You once said that there were natural foods that could prevent or simply slow down Parkinson's disease in a highly concentrated form. You mentioned vegetables that contain natural nicotine, which, when eaten, has an alleviating or preventing effect on Parkinson's disease." Ptaah: "65. That is correct. 66. Pure vegetables, such as tomatoes, peppers, aubergines and cauliflower, etc., which contain natural nicotine are effective against Parkinson's if eaten frequently. 67. A very effective extract can also be made from these vegetables, which can produce very beneficial effects. contact report 578
