  1. Most vegetarians are skinny and unhealthy looking I'm all right I'll keep eating my meat because I'm nice fit I got a good color to my skin and yeah meat is good

  2. I thought he said when you get to a high enough level of protein it doesn’t matter anymore if it comes from animal sources or plant sources. If he was wrong about that and this video is the actual truth then that would make me happy as an aspiring body builder who wants to put on a fair amount of muscle.

  3. We could sit here and argue about methionine for hours but bottom line i would still be right and i can show you why, methionine is a necessity and when switching to plants, you get less of it so much less that it negatively impacts your health within 2 weeks just from methionine decreases, and if you chose to get enough methionine from plants, you're ingesting thousands of human carcinogens just to do it, its silly we i even have to tell someone methionine is essential, do you want Parkinsons?unless your methionine intake is messing with your insulin, you need it

  4. 2 cups of beans or 4 oz of low quality red meat. The proportions are still uneven. You’d be full before I taking the same amount of proteins leaving you full and neglected at the same time.

  5. Jennatailya, we need many nutrients in amounts far lower than Westerners consume them today, particularly amino acids and protein. Yes it's essential, and yes, we primate frugivores can get enough from plants. There are far more carcinogenic compounds in a small amount of meat than in a large bowl of produce, unless that produce was heavily sprayed. Even then, it's a wash between the two. None of the exclusively plant-eating people over 85 that I know through a study have a deficiency (amino acids plasma tests) Parkinson's, etc. It's not a small group.

  6. I heard from another doctor that for longevity we need 0.8-1 gram of protein for each pound of weight 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

  7. I recently read several research articles which indicate that a variety, possibly all amino acids raise mTOR.So I cut out several supplements I was taking including glycine, Betaine (a form of glycine), beta-alanine, citrulline and taurine.

  8. The great thing about the internet is the balance. Wherever you look is an "expert" quoting stats and studies that establish that he alone has the answer and everyone else wrong…

  9. Really useful information – thank you. However, could you practice delivering such vital info with an indoor voice? Using a shouty outdoor voice when you’re inside an echoey room, and using a microphone is very tiring to listen to. It comes across as dictatorial 😂😂😂

  10. Right before this video was one about the benefits of the carnivore diet. 🤷🏿‍♂️ my grandfather lived until 92 and he ate Popeyes chicken every day. He would have lived longer if not for a stroke caused by a heat wave and 106 temperatures. My mother ate much healthier and died before 70 of ALS. You do the best you can, but at the end of the day everyone has but so many days.

  11. NO FREAKING WAY! His theory is wrong!!!! Beans HURT MY INTESTINES- cannot eat them. Cultures that do are over weight.
Almost all foods are NOW TOXIC FROM GMOS

  12. Eat high quality red meat and then learn what it really means to be human. Want to feel like a million bucks all the time? You might want to try out the carnivore diet. People say it's very dangerous but I find that frankly very hard to believe that our ancient ancestors were killing themselves eating primarily animal foods.

  13. Look at you compared to Shawn baker he's 6 years older than you and looks much younger and healthier. Obviously the vegan diet isn't working too well for you.

  14. If one follows a plant based or meat based diet Just stay away from eating from gas stations, vending machine’s and fast food etc etc and overall you will be just fine. Also get some sun and cardio and lift weights.

  15. …. how then do you explain studies done that show that countries that have the longest life expectancy eat on average a pound of meat per day per person

I commenti sono chiusi.
