What about the heavy metals? 😢
Seems the dutch processed is useful too if you don't like the natural cocoa.
On it thanks dr
I want to have it regularly, but it's just so bitter and requires significant sweetening, so all that added sugar is bad even though I use honey.
I love chocolate. =) I made a silken tofu chocolate pudding with date syrup for sweetness. Super yummy!
But any benefit you might get is immediately overwritten by the effects of heavy metal pollutants in cocoa like led, and Cadmium. This puts you in a worse condition than before.
in the intro he sounds like jerry seinfeld
This is the kind of advice I can get behind! 😊
This guy always sounds like he's narrating a kid's show
So how much cocoa powder per day exactly?
Does natural means raw?
sorry, but cocoa powder has a lot of oxalates. you add it to your diet, you will get huge damage to your health.
You don't have to threaten us with a good time! We love cacao powder!
What about the high levels of cadmium
Who paid for the study? The cocoa importers, probably!😂
I eat 100g of 80% dark chocolate per day, not for health but for taste. Seems like the former is a bonus!
i get in a dry sauna at the y thats 180 degrees for 15 minutes.that will definately increase circulation to the skin.
That’s it, I’m putting cacao powder in my smoothie everyday.
Fortunately coco gives me migraines 😕
What brand or whatever should I get ? Isn’t hersheys bad ? I used to get that brand
But what about the oxalates its pretty high
Why I look younger?
Cocoa is not good for you.
How about raw cacao nibs?
I wonder what else might do this… like Bambi's heart? Would Dr. Mike tell us?
Ill eat eggs with evoo
Does dark chocolate counts?
I don't think everyone here understands the shear POWER of Cacao..
NO….Nitric Oxide
…..
This fellow is the vegan Godman 'dr' Greger. He appears to be mid 60's.
He is just 51 years old.
I'm not listening to a word he says.
He adds chocolate to his unhealthy oatmeal…then adds more cherries( fructose)…😂😂😂 imagine that….
Does the cocoa powder need to be raw?
boy you look and sound sick.
Everyone comments how I do not look like a senior citizen. Ha! Daily, decades-long chocolate intake validation! 😂
Though, I have switched to bitter chocolate 🍫 Too much sugar is no good.
This guy sounds insane
I rub it on my junk.
You should see how fast the wrinkles disappear.
Probably because at that point, you're fat.
Cocoa powder is a seed full of oxalates.
I wonder if these videos are responsible for the astronomic rise in cocoa prices recently
Dr. Greger, you talked about lead in chocolate. How much is a safe amount
OK, I’m definitely on board with this theory and I pose this question: I have been consuming coffee “mocha, which is chocolate“ every day for years, maybe a decade – does that qualify me, because I have some wrinkles and they’re not going away. 🫡
Record high commodity prices or cocoa 03/27/24❤
Skin's not getting fatter you are.😅😅😅
I put cacao powder in my protein smoothie, with frozen strawberries and a couple walnuts! It’s SO good! And it helps with muscle soreness too
I tried adding coco powder to my milk, i mix it with honey, great energy and mood booster. Gotta find will it benefit my skin, thanks.
I add a big scoop in my collagen shake, at least 4 times a week.
Sad it has so much lead
Was it an independent study or was it actually a study paid for by the cocoa manufacturers.
Sponsored by the Cocoa Industry.
Cadbury approves this message.
Coffee w cacao + cayenne pepper, almond milk + stevia. 😋
I’m gonna try adding to my smoothies!
600 mg =1/16 tbsp? I would go with just under a tbsp like I think he said?
Cocoa or cacao
I started putting a tablespoon of cocoa powder in my coffee every morning the day I saw this video. This weekend I took a little tumble and had a small cut on my elbow. Not deep, and less than an inch. Nothing would stop the bleeding. Finally had to go to an urgent care center. They couldn't believe I wasn't on blood thinners or taking aspirin. Said they'd never seen anything like it. Just had platelets checked in routine yearly check up a month ago. All fine. Techs and me holding pressure on it for over an hour with some kind of clotting cubes on it. Nothing. They finally put about 3 inches of gauze on it and wrapped it so tight with an ace bandage and told me not to take it off for two days. They quizzed me on everything I was putting in my body. Totally had forgotten the cocoa powder. Was looking forward to that skin elasticity…. Had to stop it. This was so dangerous for me.
The only problem is that I drink it with milk. And if you read the latest book milk is devil in all trials.
I'm surprised they state cocoa and not cacao….the latter being far more nutritionally dense,
Twist my arm 😂🌱❤
