Great video ☘️☘️☘️
Keeping our Endothelium’s strong and health is the goal! Thank you Dr. Greger!
300 grams is almost a pound! That's a lot of blueberries.
I eat a cup at least 3-5 times a week w/ my oatmeal
I love this channel!
The problem is that fresh blueberries are rather expensive. They cost almost 5€ for 300g at Aldi over here in Germany whereas a frozen berry-mix with mostly currants in it costs less than 4 bucks for 750g. So it would be interesting to see what currants and other berries can do for your arteries.
Two days ago I ate some blueberries that were rather sugary than usual. I had a severe fatigue after that, I was sleepy for like 4 hours and couldn't work. Fortunately I was working remotly. Some of these blueberries I'm sure are filled with sugar but I like them though.
Will they make vitiligo worse
🫐Really fascinating! Thanks for this one!
When we say "a cup" how much are we talking roughly in grams?
March 15, 2023 — Three-quarters of non-organic produce sold in the United States comes with potentially poisonous chemicals, the Environmental Working Group says in its latest ranking of the "best and worst" fruits and vegetables for pesticide exposure.
The group released its " 2023 Shopper's Guide to Pesticides in Produce ," with blueberries and green beans joining the "Dirty Dozen" of the 12 non-organic, or conventionally grown, fruits and vegetables with the most pesticides.
Interesting…when I was pregnant with both of my sons, each pregnancy, I could not eat blueberries. I would immediately vomit. Didn't happen with any other food. Just blueberry anything. I can eat them now no problem..weird how the body reacts to things during pregnancy.
can you heat fruit and all berries in the microwave or do they lose nutrition etc?
💕
Time to go buy me some blueberries!
My problem is that good blueberry produce is hard to find. They suck lately. Wonder what's causing the decline in quality produce because it feels like not just them either.
Is that team effort the same process that's happening with the omega 3s when they don't show up in testing? Even for people who are eating plenty of flax for example, even for people who are not poisoning themselves with animals and knocking out natural conversion? Thanks Doc 🥦❤
I love 🫐 every day!
But blueberries have been added to the Dirty Dozen list of fruits and vegetables most contaminated with pesticides and herbicides. Wild or organic blueberries are really expensive and not always available.
In your Daily Dozen you recommend 1/2 cup (60 g). Should it be updated?
can you compare blueberry compared to ice cream intake 8oz
Thanks Dr Greger, for looking at the science so we don't have to. Who wants to follow someone's daft opinion?
The next time my friends make fun of me for having a blueberry addiction, I'm going to show them this video
Everytime I eat blueberries I see them in my stool when I go to the bathroom.
Thanks
I've been eating blueberries smoothie for almost 10yrs, although I'm still have some pounds to lose, I had an ultrasound on my heart and the Doctor says my heart is just fine😊!
Frozen blueberries are my ice cream. I put away 2 cups a day easily. Glad to hear that. It’s so good for me.
Does this effect work with other anthocyanin containing foods such as strawberries, blackberries and blue corn which has a lot more anthocyanins than blueberries per gram.
Basically, blueberries are good for you! In layman’s low IQ terms
I just ate some blueburriez
He should have chosen something green for Saint Patrick's day
This is mind blowing !!
wow, that's amazing!
Such good news! Daily blueberry consumption is the key 👍🏻. That's also good for the blueberry farmers 😊
I wonder about blackthorn berry/sloe tincture. I presume it has similar effects considering the similarity in colour?
300 gram serving is huge ! i love blueberries though lol
But what if you ate some broccoli sprouts, do the blueberries add anything? Seems like you could easily overdo it with all the pricey super foods. I mean , red cabbage has the same proanthocyanidins but it's a substantial food full of macronutrients already built in…
Such good news!!
Such good news!!
I know Dr grefer believes in a vegan diet but there's ZERO evidence to support any health benefits
Because there's no way to prove the people in the studies were actually vegan. Unless you stalk them every day, you can't prove they didn't eat meat
So we need to up the earlier half-cup recommendation to 1-2 cups. That's a lot of blueberries 🫐 😳
Blackcurrants way better than blueberries. Just an fyi for those that care.
I buy wild blueberries….frozen. much better for you
I delivered many meat 🥓 lover's pizzas 🍕 to this guy during the quarantine.
