  1. Hello, my friend and I only recently watched your "Uprooting the Leading Causes of Death" presentation, and it's unclear how worse (or better) a low-meat diet in comparison to a no-meat diet.
    I saw the "Low Meat or No Meat" video of yours, but it mostly refers to life expectancy, and doesn't answer to wether this affects your overall health.

    This is where you presentation and my question comes in: Besides the IGF-1 research, does meat consumption have a direct correlation to heatlh or is just a small dose once in a while does as much damage as a regular meat one?

  3. I asked him this question when I met him a few months back, and his answer was something like this :
    "We don't really know…it's like smoking : is a cigarette at your birthday going to kill you? Probably not…but you should avoid it anyway"

    you'd have to define "once in a while", and the type of damage you're trying to prevent. cutting as much meat as possible is going to be good for you, cutting all of it will be even better. if you cheat here and there to make it work, IMHO go for it.

  5. I hope you're not referring to the "quack clinic in Mexico" as the Gerson Institute. Many cancers heal from dietary therapy alone (as the Gerson Institute has proven again and again but conventional medicine refuses to acknowledge it), and in concordance with your own advice here on diet changes, I hope you see that. For anyone interested in treating cancer with diet, research the Gerson Institute, as it heals many cancers without the use of poisons (chemo, radiation).

  6. i'm saying they don't teach them anything about nutrition, let alone the latest in nutritional science like Dr Greger is putting out there. most of the medical schools have 0 mandatory nutritional course, and if they have one, it is very limited in terms of hours and knowledge. check the videos out…and there is more of them as well if you check out his website.

  7. nobody is forcing anyone…it should come naturally to people who wants to stay healthy and cancer free. and he's not talking about cross fit either…just walking does wonders.

  8. at least you are concious that you could do better and eat no meat at all…but "clean" beef/pork is very unlikely, with the state of the food system today, even if you buy meat sourced from smaller local farmers (they still need to use the big slaughterhouse).

    small steps ! i never thought i would be able to stop meat, let alone pork! but i did, and i feel great for it.

  9. Most breast cancers in the U.S. do not need to be treated with Chemo, but the medical system here chemos these patients anyway. This is beyond criminal frankly, and also leads to a sneaky way to show a higher survival percentage. Very twisted healthcare system we have here.

  10. there's probably money to be made there…
    and the "survival percentage" is based on living 3 years after the intervention…many die soon after that.

    i'm certainly not a big fan of chemo…but i'm no fan of injecting people with raw liver either (Gerson).

  11. Broccoli itself really doesn't agree with me but I discovered broccoli slaw — a mix of broccoli, carrots and red cabbage — in packages in the produce section of the grocery store. I make it the base of my nightly salad, actually eating more if it than the lettuces I pile on top. I don't have any problems digesting it and I think it is a good solution for people if straight broccoli causes problems.

  12. they can still really heal it through an all raw fruit based diet or better, but that knowledge only a few know.
    but i agre sad they don't know.

  13. what i think is sad to see is, that an all fruit raw diet has not made it to a study yet, although their are thousands of testimonials of cancer patients healing themselves, some people reverseing multiples clerosis and other extreme problems.
    but sadly still no deep strong study.
    simple said vegetables are crap vs real ripe fruit.
    fruit is the best my friends.

  14. It´s amazing that your comment got down rated, in the context of a channel that promotes nutrition as a panacea for disease. That only reveals that people are so sensitized to the subject of cancer, and have been made so myopic by dishonestly manipulated "science" and the preconceptions of the medical profession, that they are unable to fully grasp the atrocity of conventional intervention, and rather have a supportive environment for poisoning, rather than use courageous application of logic.

  15. The video dr. Greger made bashing the Gerson therapy in favor of chemotherapy, is an insult to the very information generally provided in his own channel, and surely to those with fully integrous intellects. The study was showed to be as fraudulent as they get, and there is substantial data on the higher efficacy of Gerson´s vs. any other conventional treatment, as is agreed by the man of science T. Colin Campbell in his recent book. Liver shots cause no cancer, liver failure or decrepitude.

  16. if that is the case, i hope he makes another series of videos on this. I sincirely do not have the time to go into these studies to see how legit they were.

    as for liver shots, i would personnaly stay away from them, and since animal protein seems to be a trigger for cancer, i'm not sure how you can say with so much confidence the shots causes no cancer, etc.

    hopefully there's a follow up that clears it all up Mr Greger !

Make no mistake: Injecting liver extracts (historically used for anemic and B12 deficient patients) is an unwise and dangerous procedure, yet certainly not as toxic or biologically incompatible as the vast majority of the concoctions used routinely by medical doctors, particularly in the cancer protocols.

  18. wow! For women with breast cancer on Tamoxifen eating more broccoli could cut the chances of their cancer returning by half! Cruciferous vegetables seems to have some very powerful anti-cancer properties.

  19. Great perspective.  We lose far more people to cancer and heart disease than all of Americas wars combined.  Yet where do we place the majority of our financial resources?  Defense seems to get more attention when in reality our Nation's health is becoming a serious national security issue!

  20. Very empowering!!!  Although broccoli doesn't agree with me, I am happy to see that radishes are on the list…I adore them!  Might as well start eating correctly now and totally avoid any diagnosis at all, right? 🙂
