  1. With insanely high levels of triglycerides that caused severely high LDL cholesterol for me, I tried a few tricks for 30 days and it worked :

    1) Began Sippin' Roselle (Hibiscus Tea) almost daily.
    2) Started consuming healthy nuts/seeds (Sesame, Flaxseed, Walnuts).
    3) Threw tthe white sugar right into the dustbin.
    4) Began consuming citrus fruit juices mixed with cold steeped Green and Blavk Teas for enhanced bioavailability of EGCG and Theaflavins.
    5) Began 15 mins of HIIT activities like Sprints almost daily.
    6) Did 16 hours of Intermittent Fasting daily.

    I was on 5 mg of Crestor while doing all this though which works on LDL and "NOT" on Triglycerides.
    My LDL & Triglycerides plummeted from :
    LDL – 195 mg/dL to 80 mg/dL
    Triglycerides – 450 mg/dL to 105 mg/dL

    And I didn't take any fibrates or Niacin at all which are the only remedy.

    Fulltime Plant Based Diet, and quit Dairy and Meat for that span AND ever since then, I'm a Vegan !
    Yeah, I added lots of beans, legumes as well.
    My testosterone jumped from 780 mg/dL (which is already excellent for an Asian Indian) to 1103 mg/dL.

    And yes, “`Triglycerides contribute to the LDL cholesterol and particles because they break into VLDL which coalesce to form LDL.“`

  2. This came at a great time because I just cooked red and white quinoa yesterday. I can't wait to have it at lunch 😁😁😁 I wonder how they compare to beans?

  3. Unfortunately, quinoa is significantly more expensive than rice. When I make brown rice, I mix in a little quinoa with some buckwheat and some lentils. I boil the rice separately like pasta and drain the liquid to reduce the arsenic content. I also use vegetable broth instead of water, as quinoa tastes rather plain without it.

  4. The climate crisis does not exist, it is just some clever junk science to promote some financial interests on (not so) green energy, carbon trade, carbon tax and so on.

  5. Toll, was für eine gute Alternative für Leute mit erhöhten Cholesterinwerten und Trigliseriden. Genaus so wirksam wie ein Medikament wirkt offenbar roter und schwarzer Quinoa.

  6. Quinoa is amazing and almost most of it its Organic cause it cames from the Andean mountains in Peru. except for the American quinoa..Tip guys. Only buy the one that cames from Peru is fur better.

  7. Quinoa is one of my favorite grains. I eat 2000-2500 calorie mono meals of quinoa all the time, just plain quinoa with nothing added.

  8. I often get terrible heartburn from quinoa even though I soak it and get rid of the soapy stuff. Any ideas on how to avoid it?

  9. i love love love quinoa. havent tried red or black. Try cooking with some bullion or miso in the water for extra flavor. yum!

  10. This is awesome to hear! My triglycerides are at 247 rn and I LOVE quinoa. Though I can only ever find the white variety in big amounts I always buy there's one and mix it in. I'll be on the look out for tricolor quinoa or just plain black and red. Thanks Greger!

  11. Wheat n corn r cheap n not healthy quinoa is ridiculously overpriced $4.00 a pound in the health food store red quinoa white quinoa is $3.00 a pound someone is getting rich n it ain't the Chilean farmers

  12. How to do a proper vegan diet if you are allergic to grain (wheat, barley, oat), yeast, family of night shades (potatoes, eggplant, tomatoes), avocado, corn, soy, nuts and legumes. Can someone help????? 😭
