  1. I think this lower fat diet works. I had my tongue removed due to cancer 6 yrs ago. 6 months into it when i started to eat orally, none of my doctors told me to reduce fat intake. However upon coincidence i bumped into an ex bf who highly recommended me to switch to a more wfpb diet w/ 75%carb 15%fat(since i’m female) & 10% protein in my total daily caloric intake. I haven’t had a single relapse of cancer since. Not only that my tumor marker also got significantly lower.

  2. People don’t get it. Any talk about nutrition is frowned upon. And I’m not advocating preaching. People have the right to eat what they want, but the SAD diet is so ingrained in people, that even an extremely high cancer risk won’t stop them from participating in it. This is why I started educating my children about nutrition. My basic message is: nothing is more important than what you put in your body and in your mind.

  3. Interesting, I would want to see the overall health changes they were making in this study. What exactly were these people eating? How much junk/processed/sugar foods were stopped as well? What physical activity changed? Palm oil is listed & it's used in many "plant-based" items. Palm oil is manufactured. Breast Milk was listed on this same page @ 1:20. So breast milk, meat & dairy have been eaten by humans for thousands of years. The brain needs fats to function properly. What is the standard for low-fat? What information is this standard based upon? We've been given "low-fat" for decades & health issues have only increased. There are too many variables to consider.

  4. One does wonder if this is a push for those that be, to get people to eat less meat or animal produce as part of the '' great reset'' Are there vested interests going on here  ?. I am always sceptical of official scientific studies as you don't know who is funding them and what interests they have. You get this every 10 to 20 years or so where the opposite turns out to be true Seen it so many times Everything in moderation as they say.

  5. The content is interesting, though. It discusses only a few types of cancer. However, I find myself unable to listen to a narrator who sounds every few seconds as if he is trying desperately to push out a hard turd.

  6. I'm a vegetarian from India so the whole Keto thing is completely alien but I've heard so many stories of people beating cancer on a keto type diet and heard it from themselves! What's happening there?

  7. I'd be interesting in a study that examined whether you could maintain 30% of calories from dietary fat, but reduce or eliminate saturated fat from palm oils and animal fats (since that seems to be the triggering fat) and still have a reduction in cancer reoccurrence/metastasis. I'm WFPB, so I'm not eating the junk food or animal fats, but any time I drop below 30% dietary fat for more than a couple days, I just can't get satiated. Are WFPB folks still at risk? Or do they have the same reduced risk as low-fat omnivores?

  8. Thank you for your work. I have prostate cancer and a recent biopsy now indicates that I am at risk for metastasis, the information could have not come at a better time. Thanks again.

  9. Thank you so much for this! It’s been 10 months since my breast cancer diagnosis. I am recovering from surgery, radiotherapy and still on some chemotherapy treatments. It’s great to know how much positively we can affect these risks (of the cancer getting back) with making better choices at what we eat. Very empowering and helpfull😘

  10. Does the palmitic acid in coconut oil contribute to cancer spread? I heard it causes cancer cell apoptosis. What about the 8-20% in olive oil?!

  11. Thank you as always for valuable evidence based research. Has so helped me and I can attest to the info you are giving re reduced (well eliminated) meat and dairy fat in diet contributing to survival

  12. 24% improvement is not that much. I am sure there would be plenty of people willing to make much more changes to see if we can get the survival improvement much higher. Why aren’t more of these studies of really big changes coming out?

  13. I’ve been waiting for these videos about cancer. Finally. My husband passed away at 37 from colon cancer. We always thought we can reverse it with diet/fasting and mistletoe along with other natural treatments. Then after one strong chemo everything went downhill. Food can be our medicine 🙏 don’t trust big pharma. The oncologist literally said “I don’t care what you eat” 🤯. Food, releasing traumas, prayer, and natural medicine is the only solution to cancer in my view.

  14. So glad I quit dairy about 3 years ago; I was a hard core ice~cream~a~holic. At any given time I had a gallon tub of ice cream in the freezer. Finally quit when I learned how much estrogen was in milk. This was super informative; thanks for posting!

  15. I’m on my third recurrence of ovarian cancer I switched to plant based diet on my first recurrence I eat no animals fat but I still have the cancer back I don’t eat out I don’t drink I cooked with no oil no salt I don’t consume any sugar so basically I followed very strict diet fruits vegetables legumes some seeds and nuts and still have the cancer back ! I always look at it from positive side plant based helped me to have a mild side effects from chemo treatments and helped my cancer not to spread to the other organs and slow the cancer cells progression! God bless !!

  16. Your knowledge is so valuable! I appreciate that you take the time to share it with the world. I hope one day I will be able to do what you are doing!

  17. People here downplaying that the final study shows that a change in diet reduces recurrence of cancer ONLY by 24% are stupid. If changing one single thing can help prevent the return of a deadly problem by 24%, anyone actually facing that issue would be all-ears about adopting it. What, are you going to say "naw, forget it, let me know when you got something that reduces it be 50%, because 24% isn't worth it"? Picky fools. One single change. Combine that with several other changes, and you're bound to further reduce recurrence. Besides that, if one had this information now, in a pre-cancer stage or early stage, their odds are much better if they follow this information.

  18. Should I use stevia and erythritol for sweets or is sugar ok in moderation? I have insulin resistance, but I have always been underweight. I did keto for a month but after watching some of your videos I've decided to try a plant based diet.

  19. This data is extremely suspect as are the statistics given about survival rates. It is not the fat that contributes to cancer it is the LOW fat combined with sugar that contributes to increased risk of and spread of cancer. Cancer cells of all types are not able to consume fat to any great degree and those like this talker continue to promulgate these targeted and limited studies. A REAL contributor is the consumption of low fat yogurt with sugar. The yogurt itself contains GMO or glyphosate which is a poison built into the feed given livestock, unless one uses organic which most woman do not buy. Have you seen the rows of yogurt with varying flavors? Corn syrup another GMO laced product is dumped into these products and found in virtually every sugary yogurt on the shelf. IT IS NOT THE FAT!!!! Please woman, expand your understanding of cancer and spend some time listening to those that don't or refuse to be financed by big corporations. Here is a list for you to search here on Youtube and start expanding your understanding. Prof. Seyfried, Dr. Boz MD, Dr Fung MD, Dom D'Agostino, Dr Berg, Dr. Mark Harmon MD. The interview of prof. Seyfried by Dr Berg is one of best talks on cancer oon Youtube..

  20. Just saw young 30 yr old woman on America Got Talent (youtube) has been fighting cancer and only has 2% chance to live. Her name is Jane (Nightingale for stage) I wonder if she could survive with plant based diet

  21. I've been cooking WFPB for about 13 years but we go off the rails sometimes. My husband (age 74) is now in hospice with liver cancer and hospice tells me to let him eat whatever he wants. I feel like I'm feeding him poison when I give him ice cream, butter, etc. because he is requesting it. But I also want him to be happy. It's a dilemma. I would advise all to go WFPB and be strict with yourself. You'll be glad you said "no thanks" to that milkshake when you get a bit older 🙂

  22. This is very interesting. Comparing it to the low carb high fat and protein 'lobby', who in their quest to find carbs that do not trigger a blood sugar and hence insulin spike, encourage the intake of cream, butter, eggs, meat with fat. Since many doctors state that a high carb diet (with insulin resistance/prediabetes) is an increased risk factor in cancer, hence advocating a keto diet or carnivore diet to lessen this insulin spike, including diets high in saturated animal fats, it is interesting that video shows high saturated fats increase the risk of cancer metastasis. Exactly the opposite! I would these doctors to get together and work out the full story. That would be a video well worth watching☺🙂

  23. How can we really analyze the study, OTHER THAN THE ABSTRACT? Most of your studies are hidden behind a $$$ paywall.

  24. So does Saturated Fat include even from non animal sources, such as from coconut, nuts or avocados? These plant based fats are known to be beneficial.

  25. We have to be careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater. CD36 activation through specific fatty acids, like palmitic acid, does not mean a ketogenic diet couldn't be helpful for someone with cancer. There is growing evidence that cancer is a metabolic disease and shifting the body to ketone utilization, instead of glucose, could play a part in preventing/treating cancer.

  26. Current research on CD47 looks bright – to remove a cancer cell's ability to pretend to be OK in the body, that is, to hide what it is. Without the camouflage, the immune system can whack cancer.

  27. You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
Reduce or eliminate cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables.Eliminate fast food and sugary drinks and juices.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer.
Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility.
Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
Every city should be a bicycle city.
Speak up for bicycles in your community

  28. Lol. Complete nonsense. The scans we use to detect cancer looks for sugar not fat. I could go on but you people just continue with what you have been told. It’s how we weed out the weak.

  29. It makes me wonder how much longer survival they would have had if they had cut down fat to as low as possible just eating very low fat vegetables?

  30. I have been herpes and HIV positive for 5 years until I came across dr okosun on YouTube who cured me permanently from HSV and HIV with his herbal supplements

  31. Im so confused by this – fat is essential for the human body, theres so much research debunking the demonisation of saturated fats. As a person with breast cancer I desperately want to know the best diet to eat, so I really care! But there is so much solid evidence for every position, and no one agrees on anything. I just spent four months immersed in keto – that has all the studies to back it too, but totally contradicts this information. As a former vegan, I love Dr Greger, and How Not To Die. Didnt stop me getting cancer tho!
