I have always wondered whether the term, WFPB, Whole Food Plant Based, is the same as a vegetarian or vegan diet? Does it mean or imply 0.0% meat or not? Dr. Greger around the 6:00 mark talks a bit about this, but I never get the feeling that he nails that down 100%. From what I have seen and read a diet that includes reasonable amounts of animal products is not bad. Most people on the planet eat that way, and most people who live very long lives eat that was as well.
So, does "plant-based" mean "based" on plants, consisting of mostly plants, dose it mean all plants and no meat at all? I can see Dr. Greger himself goes to extreme lengths to disavow any animal product, but I am curious to know whether that is just his own choice or does he insist and believe that all animal products at all times are dangerous and disease causing ?
1:17 … I noticed Dr. Greger's cap here. That is such a cool cap, I have been looking for a solid color panel type baseball cap, literally for years. I don't suppose you happened to notice the brand? Damn that guy looks young.
