Is there a relatively inexpensive way to measure lead levels in the air? Looks like it's time to build a sauna! Hippocrates Health Institute has been saying for more than a decade that everyone should take saunas daily for detox. They're years ahead of mainstream medical reasearch.

I am writing a book about sauna at this moment and I could say that there are some positive benefits regarding the detox but not due to sweat but because of the speed up metabolism. There are many more studies about that.

To avoid mercury and other pollutants, don't eat fish.
The Scientology people did not stay in the sauna for 15 minutes, they stay in it for hours at a time. Not surprisingly that some may suffer from a heat stroke.

I was given mercurochrome for skinned knees in the 1950’s.
If you live in las vegas arizona or southern california. You can get in your car on a hot day with all the windows & doors closed and sit in there for 20 minutes. Sauna on wheels

Yes, sweating cleans out all heavy metals that are deep inside our organs and hard to get out. In China, they drink hot tea on a hot day in order to sweat more.
whenever I get an ear infection I try to find a sauna. Stay in there until my ears drain and then try to get out of there before I gross out some poor person.

Saunas aren’t really about sweating or “detox” of heavy metals, the heat stress activates (and suppresses) a lot of pathways Nrf2 and Nfkb respectively, along with generating heat shock proteins and other stuff. Yes you can get the same results from exercise and broccoli, but sauna is yet another effective tool to add. Especially since sauna bathing is showing to improve exercise endurance, so combining the two is ideal. They’re also showing that sauna bathing 20 mins or more, 4 times a week, is improving cardiovascular health outcomes for men, in longitudinal studies. Take that Finnish one from just 4 years ago.

Nice! I rarely sweat when I exercise, at home I can control temp and expose skin. Next session I'll try bundling up or trying those sweat suits boxes wear!
Always like the sauna. Don't have access…unless i join our local YMCA. Maybe after i retire in a few months.
