Il dolcificante allulosio ha effetti collaterali?

Quanto sono sicuri i dolcificanti di quarta generazione, come il raro zucchero allulosio? Quali sono i suoi effetti collaterali?

L'alulosio è un dolcificante salutare? (

  1. Hi Dr Greger, I would love if you could make a video on Interstitial cystitis? I've recently been diagnosed and would love to hear any thoughts or studies you may have. Thanks for your amazing videos!

  2. Best sweetener is just eat some fruit. You don't need added sugar just like you don't need added salt or added fat. Your taste buds will adjust and after a couple weeks you'll start tasting actual food again.

  3. Hey wondering if you could do a video on if calcium is ok from fortified foods as most use calcium carbonate. I understand you have talked about why not to use supplements so wondering if this is the same thing. Also would algae calcium be a valid alternative? Thanks

  4. I tried allulose for the first time a few months ago. It didn't seem to be very sweet for some reason even though the package said you could use it like regular sugar. The notion of "artificial" and "natural" doesn't mean anything.

  5. Dr Greger, thanks for the information. I was going to purchase a bag of this sweeter but after this video I’ve decided against it. Doesn’t seem to good for our bodies and far from being “natural”.

  6. I've been using allulose for about 6 years now. I had horrible IBS stemming from ischemic colitis, and joint pains from who knows what, since I wasn't a soda drinker or really ever liked sugary foods and drinks .I don't use much, but it tastes great in lemonade, which I love having all year long. It helps with my digestive tract and I've not been on any meds in 5 1/2 years for digestive issues. I'm not saying allulose helped, but I'm not saying it's a coincidence either. I love it in my chicory coffee as well. It mellows it out a bit and enhances umani for me. My husband is type 1 diabetic so we do a whole food plant based high carb diet (I do keto version with nuts and other whole food plant fats, not oils) and I add allulose when recipes calls for dates or bananas to sweeten because it tastes like the unhealthy version when I add allulose 😁
We don't do sweets often, but for a treat on holidays or birthdays, it's a great substitute for dates and bananas. Dates and bananas just makes everything so heavy sometimes and no matter what you add, it tastes like dates and bananas 😂

Allulose and azuki beans makes a great fudge! One way to get some beans into picky eaters 😄😄😄
Just cook the beans and add some allulose and blend them up and refrigerate or freeze (It's delicious in the summer but add a bit of plant milk and stick it in a ice pop mold) for few hours. It's a great way to have beans when tired of curries and stews and soups on a hot day. My husband loves it.

  7. not exactly health food, avoid it is the best course of action.
only in america they like artificial stuff and drugs instead of eating healthy.

  8. I saw a recent study showing allulose to be more glycating of protein than fructose, which is five times more glycating than glucose. Since glycation contributes to protein damage and aging, would you avoid allulose as harmful for that reason? Look at the study entitled "Microwave glycation of soy protein isolate with rare sugar (D-allulose), fructose and glucose"

  9. See, when I went vegetarian, then later vegan, I also dropped "sweetened things". I don't use any sweetener and in the occasional deserts we have (rare), we like to use (drum roll please) sugar. But, we might make two apple pies a year. So, it's dietetic non-issue for us. Thanks again for a great video!!!

  10. Well this would explain why my morning coffee has been ending a bit more explosively than usual 😂. Gotta use that formula and back off a bit, I suppose. Thanks Doc and Team!
