  1. I will tell you that food is the first addiction. Hence, this information will have little bearing on getting people to alter what they want to do. Usually, addicts would rather die than give up their addictions when the cause and effect link is not obvious to them…..

  2. Do you think there are connections with creutzfeldt jakob disease? That also this may not be ALL meat but just Infected meat? Maybe bovine spongiform got into the general beef supply?

  3. Could be plausible in Mass farming. Realize that it was never by ingestion only by injection. They are trying to demonize your meat market. Prions disease outside of the farming very few animals catch it. They are going to claim that prions disease is in nature and we can't go there no hunting no fishing no nothing. Mark my words it's coming. You will fight for your right to have good animal husbandry farming. Oh my God the world that we once knew is gone. That's okay don't fret I know it's really upsetting. Allow the serpent to eat its tail it cannot survive with just a head. And you better be prepping. Get ready cuz it's going to get ugly.

  4. I don't get how this research has been conducted by the Michael J Fox foundation and yet Michael J Fox is still not vegan.

  5. My dad suffered for many years with Parkinson’s disease. I wish he had known this information. So glad I switched to 100% WFPB 3 years ago . Sadly, it seems none of my family members seem to care much about a dietary approach to health. I watch them all suffer with their health conditions but not change their behavior. It’s really hard to understand.

  6. Alright let's make a survey of percentage of vegans/vegetarians/non vegetarians suffering from parkinsons.

    Coz i have vegetarian friends who have a history of cancer in their families.

  7. The more time passes, the more animal products are proven to be unnatural, toxic and detrimental for us. A consequence may me that the authorities will be forced to put warning signs on packages and stop subsidizing animal products. Make meat etc more expensive and plant products cheaper!!!

This is why I love nutrition facts by amazing Md Michael Greger and his dedicated team they are saving people saving families the book HOW NOT TO DIE This is what made me study nutrition my most selfless grandad dying from Parkinson’s he was like my dad felt part of me died when he developed this illness and progressively got worse and I felt powerless and saw my second dad losing his freedom gradually as the disease progressed remember his hands kept shaking grabbing my hand in the care home broke my heart the day he died want him back so bad and his walking sloped he developed pneumonia and was so skeletal really sad but grateful I have found Nutrition facts to save people from developing Parkinson’s but i could have saved grandad if I found Nutrition facts before now so naive I was about nutrition forever grateful to these selfless people

Even without all the scientific evidence we 've had for decades (although freely accessible via the internet for only a relatively short recent times) and the amazing work of Dr. Greger and others, an intelligent person must come to the conclusion that the vegan way is the best way simply after seeing the effects of excessive meat consumption in our closest family and relatives we watched growing up and cooking and consuming what they were consuming on a daily basis. I saw what alcohol and a diet of almost 90% of meat and processed meats exclusively did to my late father. Cognitive decline and an early onset dementia shortly after he turned 60. It was sad to watch, and even sadder to see him eat tons and tons of meat and processed meat products daily with such a gusto as he was conditioned and taught by his parents. If you love yourself, your life and your health and the planet we live on (and your children) you put one and one together easily and don't follow the misguided carnivore path of your predecessors and break that generational cycle of bad dietary habits. We know better, and we CAN do better!!! We have the knowledge and we certainly have the means and options to do that easily. Peace!

  10. Okay, but what other factors increase intestinal permeability? Lectins, such as gluten, and a diet rich in whole grains and legumes is also rich in lectins.

  11. It doesn't establish whether meat intake is a decisive/necessary factor. There are very strong regional associations with parkinsons. Those can't be explained by meat consumption. There is however an established link with pesticide exposure. My dad told how his dad (a farmer) used to walk with pesticide spray sprinkling everywhere every other day, letting the children help him now and then. He doesn't know about the link with pesticides and parkinson's, even though his dad died of it. Now they have a recently purchased pesticide spray at home for the lawn whereas they always used to do it by hand. No clue whether I should tell them. In France parkinson's is recognized as an occupational disease for wine farmers btw
