  1. GI index for dates:
    Why is there conflicting info on the GI index for dates? I see in "International table of glycemic index and glycemic load values: 2002" that the GI level for dates is very high, over 100. And the book "How Not to Diet" also places it high, worse than white bread. Whereas other references I've seen put it at around 50.

    Am I missing something here?

  2. Type 2 diabetes is a transient condition caused by excess fat in the liver.
    Losing weight and exercise fixes it.
    Put the weight back on and it returns – therefore eat the diet for your healthy weight and move a bit.
    The medical profession only treats "diabetes" because people won't do this.
    Plus in the USA there's money in it.

  3. Good information, excellent. However, I cannot continue to listen to that voice. It's annoying, not easy to understand. Inflection, not needed as a constant. That voice, the narrator/the reader … lost me.

  4. Suggests eating a carb-rich diet for a condition in which carbs cannot be tolerated. Sounds legit… How about you just cut the carbs to zero and burn fat, as nature intended.

  6. Those of us with IBS may not tolerate many vegetables or vegetable protein. That means few greens, no beans and, for me, no soy. Diet is a tricky thing.

  8. Lovely video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you considered – Trentvorty Abraded Diabetes Theorem (probably on Google)? It is a good one of a kind product for getting rid of diabetes minus the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cooworker at last got amazing results with it.

  12. So, you take a group of 30 unhealty people eating a poor diet. Half of it keeps on eating their poor diet (with a lot of sugar, refined carbs and cheap oils) and the other half start with a healthier died (not vegan but more vegetables then they used to). Hurray! The second group improved their health a little bit.
    Now this quack wants us to believe that that's proof that a plantbased diet is healthier!!!!!!!!!!!!

Five minutes of his time is too long apparently,..I'm done with the willingness to stay ignorant for the sake of habits and tradition. Everyone should change their minds and actions, based on valid new information and evidence, and the people I encounter fear the new info to such a degree they are not even willing to look at it.   21. I am using Abbott's FreeStyle Libre with Ambrosia's blucon and can get my glucose readings on my apple watch even without the phone. I can share readings with upto 5 people in almost real-time. Can get alarms and my loved one can also get an alarm if my glucose is out of range.

  22. Great logic. Carbohydrates leads to an increase in blood sugar. Diabetics have problems with blood sugar. Eat loads of carbs. Usual bullshit from Dr know its all.

  23. My blood sugar is still around 100 after a month of strict plant based diet. Cut out all candy, saturated fats, but still hasn’t made a dent on my blood sugar. Very discouraging.
