Vedi Getting Under Our Skin – BPA on Receipts (http://www.nutritionfacts.org/video/getting-under-our-skin-bpa-on-receipts).<br/>
Anche se la frutta in scatola potrebbe non essere contaminata dal BPA, sfortunatamente potrebbe non essere sana come fresca o congelata. Vedi La frutta in scatola è sana? (http://nutritionfacts.org/video/is-canned-fruit-as-healthy/).

Fa parte di una serie estesa sulla sostanza chimica. Penso che il mio ultimo video sull'argomento fosse How to Avoid the Obesity-Related Plastic Chemical BPA ( http://nutritionfacts.org/video/how-to-avoid- the-obesity-related-plastic-chemical-bpa/).

1. Thank you so much for sharing, Dr. Greger! +NutritionFacts.org I would like to give a most sincere request for a topic I am hoping you would choose to cover in the future, (as you have suggested to leave questions on videos or blog posts). Specifically, I am wondering about recovery from a severe eating disorder, including severe anorexia of many years while on a vegan diet. (I am aware that this is possible, and can be healthily), but I would be most grateful to hear you address this topic in more detail.* If you choose to cover this topic, could you if possible address concerns about adequate phosphorus, and adequate protein while recovering on a plant based diet. Also if possible, could you address concerns that the consumption of only plant based foods would supply the body with "more fiber than is optimal for recovery." I would also be most grateful if you could cover the impact of the consumption of animal based foods on cardiovascular, and bone health of severely underweight individuals who are in this situation.

My apologies to ask so much here!

  2. Any ideas on blender container material? They're all plastic. Am I doomed? They probaly don't make glass blenders incase they chip and then you would be drinking glass.

What about bottled water? Does the thin plastic material leech into the water?

  3. I've often questioned why my age group has such high problems with pcos and infertility. I know 13 friends who struggle to have a baby, no success yet. Now it all makes sense. We are one of the first generations to be fully emersed in plastic. From baby bottles and pacifiers to bottled juices and toys. It's disheartening… any thoughts on how to reverse these effects, would just staying away from plastics do it?

  4. Its not just a problem with containers. You have people using sextoys with BPA or alternatives, which is probably even worse…

  5. This reminds me of the replacement of ecigs for cigarettes. Rock and a hard place. Bpa free plastic or not, just don't use either. But, most of us still do use both plastic and/or smoke cig or ecigs. I don't smoke but do use plastic at times. Tsk, tsk…

  6. what about baking a what is "the healthiest container" or safest video. Covering the different tradeoffs of the ones we can choose from.
I know that stainless steel turns the first dry peal of a red onion a greenish color, if it is left there overnight in water. So there must be something going on in at least the one I have 🙂

  7. Can you please make a video addressing legumes lectins. Is the fiber worth the lectin damage? Similarly with phytic acids in leafy greens?
Stop avoiding the difficult questions. -Cheers

  8. ugh, I been storing my leftovers in plastic Rubbermaid containers, am I sabotaging my health? I got a glass container too, but it has a plastic lid. I love this site, it has really helping me get healthier, but it sometimes gets frustrating finding all the new things I now need to quit doing…

  9. So what the fuck do we do then? I originally drank filtered tap water. Then I started buying already filtered reverse osmosis water in large barrels…..which are made of BPA free plastic.
What is the cheapest most reliable way to get safe drinking water free of all this toxic crap?
Back to tap water through a Berkley filter?

  10. Not a fan of the editing format of this video. Too many awkward pauses in the audio, and unnecessary movement of the documents. Good content but the editing was too distracting IMO.

  11. My favorite Tomato Sauce comes in a glass reusable mason jar with a metal lid with some kind of plastic coating on it, but the sauce doesn't touch the lid, well hopefully anyway. I often use them for my coffee as many reusable coffee cups change the taste of my coffee.

  12. I'm a huge fan but of dr g and his invaluable videos but the new format leaves me cold. There is less personality and less clarity in the new style. Can someone from NF comment on why they went with this approach? I might just be missing something.

  13. It was said years ago in france by the specialists who revealed the toxicity of BPA. Days after a BPA free label was anounced, the info about it not solving anything did spread in some alternative medias.

  14. so what to do if the only alternative for u(s) is to buy plastic water bottles from the store (with no car to carry glas water bottles is…kinda difficult if u buy a lot of other stuff)

i used to have a water distiller but its pretty tedious work to use ONE for a whole family (if everyone drinks 2++ liters)

usual waterfilters dont get rid of bpa and pals

    so…what to do?

  15. watch NF video -> open the studies -> open the studies cited in the studies -> 3 hours suddenly gone

i call it: "The Greger Vortex"

  16. And what about the glass? I'm not quite sure, how is it prodused. And even if you use a glass, ceramic or a stainless steel containers, it's still got a rubber sealant, synthetic silicone at best. Is it safe?

  17. Not surprising that substitutes are still bad. I was wondering about metal containers, it was mentioned that they are 'probably safe' but hopefully, someday, they 'put it to the test' and try out different kinds of metals. I have a steel mug and whenever I drink tea or coffee out of it, it has a funny metal taste to it, so a little concerning there.

  18. What about Tritan or other BPA or BPA-Free Blenders and Food Processors? Is it safe to just process the food in there and pour it out immediately?

  19. I'am on self prescribed trt threaphy so no low test levels here haha. But more estrogen is always a bitch, and lower thyroid function is also bad.

  20. Basically – drink your water from either Glass or Stainless steel and stay away from ANY plastic or similiar junk materials.

  21. So we are all just fucked? I mean dam I need to meal preb my food! I work out…. no time to cook all day and I hate cooking! I’m googling stainlesssteel containers but nobody makes them ( atleast the way I need them
) airtight and atleast 2l …. I’m getting stainless steel water bottle…. is it ok to reuse bpa free containers :(?

  22. tritan is "BPA free" but they can't use that name because of trademark. So I can assume that tritan is pretty save because the guy who tied to forbid tritan was the guy who takes profits from BPA free procucts that are less safe than tritan itself. It's all about money.
