Cordiali saluti, le piante non hanno un sistema nervoso centrale, non sono senzienti e non possono provare dolore, ma anche se potessero, più piante vengono uccise per nutrire gli animali per la carne, i latticini e le uova, diventare vegani uccide meno piante. Le vite delle piante contano ✊🏻

  5. Oh the pressure to be consistent. It's so strong that you have to double down on lunacy in order to make you feel like you're not a hypocrite. You may think of her as batshit insane, but I guess you can't call her inconsistent, I guess?

    I guess if you are going to go down this road, this person might want to ask themselves one important question….."if I feel what I'm saying is genuinely true, then why do I want to maximize the most amount of suffering as possible by inflicting harm to both plants & animals"

Apples WANT to be eaten… Most fruits want to be eaten as they spread their seeds farther & science also shows they do much better/healthier in growth/life once passed through the digestive system of a mammal or bird. I wish people would call out disingenuous arguments for what they were more often.

  34. Hrm. One can believe that plants have neuroreceptors and are sentient, and not project things like grief or attachment to offspring upon them. I believe that plants do sense things and feel shock and pain (of a sort) but I wouldn't be so arrogant as to project the subjective human experience of social attachments onto them, not akin to a mammal.

  50. If a plant is sentient there’s nothing more the apple tree wants is to pluck her apples. That’s why they are juicy and red . To make it attractive for animists to eat so they can go elsewhere and shit out the seed so seed spreads to more apple trees
