  1. PCBs can't be used for manufacturing cookware since… long. At least in Europe. Teflon is not a PCB (as in polychlorinated biphenyl).
    Heating up Teflon generates fluorocarbons, which of course are toxic. (supposedly as low as 160° C)

  2. Oh, and I forgot to mention: the best non-stick pans are made from ceramics or anodized aluminum. No noxious fumes from those.

  3. I was around 58 when my thumb started giving me problems. As time passed i had other symptoms; hand tremors, restless sleep, muscle weakness, cognitive decline, voice spasm, stiff achy right arm and ankle.
