Thanks for sharing another benefit to a plant-based diet. Keep up the good work.
Since you like amla, you might check out ayurveda's list of herbs for longevity: rasayanas.
The free radical theory of aging is wrong theory. That's why the free radical mitochondrial theory of aging is wrong too. The free radical mitochondrial theory of aging was proposed in 1980. The mitochondrial theory of aging was first proposed in 1978.
Where can you get your dvd?
As we increase our oxygen intake it thereby increases the mitochondria count in our cells (fission). Disease and illness has no life in a high oxygen environment. Aging (oxidation) is impossible with increasing mitochondria. Utube Theta Brainwaves to Nirvana.
This is really interesting.
Since cells divide into two parts, I guess when a cell divides it loses half its mitochondria, so the after about 7 splittings there would be no mitochondria left … so something in the cell must be making the mitochondia, is that correct? If so, then we say the mitochondria are rusting … well, are the mew mitochondria made rusty too, or is this just another BS story that we really know nothing about anyway?
isn't it also a benefit to our mitochondria to eat reduced calories as well?
Wow this is so informative. Thanks
I am suffering from Fluoroquinolone Toxicity and am in search of a plant based (vegan) diet and recovery protocol. Can anyone direct me to a resource?
DAMN. Think this was the video that convinced me..
This is the most informative channel on YouTube, thank you doctor, you don't know how much you have improved my life and changed it completely for the better.
The best supplement for Mitochondrial integrity?
Alpha Lipoic Acid…………
been taking this for YEARS
this guys smart af! thanks
PQQ and CoQ10
and on the darker side of gene expression I like to call that poisoning, anything that makes me grow 'fewer' mitochondria [i'm autistic] is poison, anything that helps is medicine…
Fuck yes I'll be the sexiest grandpa at my 2057 highschool reunion
Call me Mrs. Hunt
Great vid! Just one Question though. Is it too late to convert to vegan now that I am in my fifties?
You didn't explain why though. Why vegetarian? What exactly is there in animal products that is suppressing this enzyme?
WHOLE FOOD PLANT BASED LIFE STYLE IS THE ANSWER.
buuuuuut !
In another of your videos apples are like number 4 in the top 10 most antioxidant foods ever tested. I commented about how if you slice them they turn brown. WTF dr. G?
this is so much bullshit. the statistical data of the china study revealed that vegans do not live longer. and of course i mean the real hard data not the book with flawed interpretations about it. and when i see how some vegans look after a few years i am happy now that i have good nerves to see that zombie pictures of vegans after getting rid of my diabetes and more than 25kg of body fat and gained muscles on a meat based ketogenic high fat diet.
that was the best decision to go on that magical diet 20 months ago. now together with SIT exercise at a age of 46 i get to the highest level of health in my life.
and btw. do real research and you will find out that ROS (reactive oxygen species) in ketosis is much lower on a ketogenic diet based on high quality protein from meat compared to a high carb vegan diet. so less damage from free radicals.
that is the best diet for people with a damaged metabolism like insulin resistance / diabetes type 2. i don't care if anyone believes me. but you can check in the reversing diabetes type 2 facebook forum and ask the other many thousands of people that are happy now.
Is it a high calorie diet or is it a diet that is rich in proteins that increases rate of oxidation of our bodies?
Gee, the comments under are cringy
Anyway
The Powerhouse of the cell
Thx
Thank you! This needs to be on the news
