  1. Wow, I'm early. Never figured out what I wanted to do with the saffron I got. It's so expensive I wanted to make sure I had the right dish for it and that I would taste it.

  2. Is saffron sold in supplement form? I have the spice, a good quality one in a glass jar. Did the studies use the regular store sold spice?

  3. Iranian study. So how do we know what's true? How can we know anything for sure in a profit-based system? This is one of the reasons we are in desperate need of a global resource-based economy. It's the only way to eliminate the problem of industry funded studies, agnotology, opinions (rather than scientific truth) and debate. Check out thevenusproject.com

  4. We have been using Saffron in our foods for ages in Afghanistan. Delicious and colorful. Now here, I buy it from Amazon and is very expensive but cheaper then medicine.
I use it in my foods and make hot tea (fresh ginger and saffron). Very nice. Don't forget that it's good for eye side as well.

  5. In Ayurveda, Saffron is said to be an "ama shodana" or that purges wastes and toxins. It is given in small quantities for many degenerative diseases. Now we know Alzheimer's is a disease due to the accumulation of certain wastes and toxins in the brain between the neurons. No wonder, it helps.

  6. the great thing about saffron is that even if you an young and have zero symptoms, why not use this yummy and completely safe to consume spice? yeah, it is expensive.

  7. I’m not convinced. It would be lovely to think that a pinch of saffron in someone’s porridge would turn around something so debilitating as Alzheimer’s.

  8. I did some research on crocin and it seems to be in other plants such as gardenia and grape seed extract .. As we all know saffron is very, very expensive .. Can alzheimers patients just take these other, less expensive plants and still experience positive results?

  9. What dosage would you recommend to my grandma with moderate Alzheimers? And is that best in supplement form? Please let me know!

  10. Thank you for being direct to the point and cutting the crap. You are funny but jokes not required. We will watch you no matter what.

  11. Saffron is very good in tea, especially white tea. Just add around 10 stimas per cup of white (or green, hibiscus, etc). 2-3x daily and you'll be at pretty close to the 30mg dose

  12. My mom was diagnosed with mild dementia in 2016 and now she is completely free from dementia with Dr. Rohan's herbal supplements.. you can reach him via dr.rohanronjohn@gmail.com it may also help you..
